Penn Station East Coast Subs

I attempted to order the Chicken Club sandwich (no lettuce, tomato, or honey mustard) through DoorDash, a meal I’ve enjoyed many times before. However, the club wasn’t listed on the DoorDash menu, so I called the restaurant only to learn they no longer offer delivery. I was advised to order a “Build Your Own Dagwood” sandwich and customize it accordingly. Unfortunately, the app wouldn’t let me add turkey, so I called again. An employee assured me he would note my order and ensure the kitchen made a club sandwich as requested.

When my order arrived, it was a Dagwood with only ham. After calling once more, a different employee promised to personally deliver the correct sandwich since I live nearby. Shortly after, I received another call explaining that the previous employee wasn’t authorized to offer delivery (HE DIDN’T HAVE A LICENSE) and couldn’t explain why he made that promise. This employee took down my order again and invited me to pick up a free replacement.

Despite this, the sandwich my boyfriend picked up was still incorrect—a club with all the fixings I explicitly asked to omit. After dealing with a stomach bug and making this my first real meal in days, the $30 I spent through DoorDash felt completely wasted. I tried to be understanding of possible new staff, but the repeated errors and miscommunication have been incredibly frustrating.

Best Penn station there is

Tried for over 2 hours to call in an order and finally had to drive in and tell them their phone was off the hook. Watching them cook my take out sandwich wasn't wise as they weren't wearing appropriate hair covering and no food preparation gloves and kept scratching their scalp, all three of them. Won't be returning.

food was great. ordered online and order was supposed to be ready, but employees didn’t start making my order until i got there so i waited unnecessarily long for a two sandwich order. will never order online again.

Hazel is an excellent representative of Pennsylvania Station subs! He was so courteous and warm and efficient. The food was delicious. Best bread I’ve ever had on a sub. The fresh french fries were stellar! We had the cheesesteak sub and it was just perfect! I can see why this chain of restaurants is incredibly successful. Delicious food and fabulous employees! Congratulations to the Morehead, Kentucky location of Pennsylvania station subs.

Hazel greeted us so warmly and was so efficient! The Philly steak sub was stellar! The whole grain bread is the best bread I’ve ever had on a sub. You can see why Pen Station subs is successful with delicious food and an excellent staff.!

I loved this restaurant when it first came to Morehead and for several years after.
Lived away for ~ 8 years, visiting occasionally and just seemed to be trending downward in all aspects.
Last two times I've been there to order takeout the service is very lackluster, and good same. Both times I ordered, then two or three other groups come in to get takeout or eat in, and they get their food while I'm sitting there waiting.
Today, I saw the worker throw my fries in after my three sandwiches have already been sitting there for about 5 minutes or so.
Not like they were busy.
Also, the appearance (cleanliness) of the staff is lacking in my opinion.
Not likely that I will return.

Standard experience in a good way. Order and wait about 5 min to get order. Pricey to me but looks like it's the norm now. $20 for med fry and large sub. Did see a member rub her gloves on her pants and never changed them so.... but typical experience and ok food.

Higher than a giraffes hind end price wise

Whoever you've got on the grill needs a hair net. I found 3 long brownish/blonde hairs in my sandwich. Cmon guys.
