I couldn’t recommend this place more. The food is fantastic. The only thing I will complain about is if you eat outside the rumble strips for the roundabout are annoying.

Awesome little spot for amazing brisket

I can’t even give the service a star. the server was very bad.took a hour and a half just to get our appetizer then another 45 minutes to get our food. the server never checked on us .Had to get the attention of another server to bring us refills for our drinks . Our server forgot to put our order in and now we’re waiting on our check for another 30 minutes the food was cold and over cooked most of our party couldn’t even eat we tryed to go inside to pay nope had to sit and wait for a server . I would not recommend going to this restaurant and I would never ever go back

Came here for the first time! I will never come back! We sat and waited 20 mins before we even got a server (Emily) took our drink order which took 20 mins to receive then ordered our food! While waiting not once did she come back to check on us to make sure we didn’t need anything sat with an empty cup for about 45 mins! Before we finally got our food which was not even good my onion rings were cold and my aunts bread was so hard she couldn’t even eat it! I was not happy with this service at all!

We waited an hour for our food my sandwich was so overcooked I didn't even eat it. Service was horrible. Tried to pay our bill was told we had to wait for our waitress another twenty minutes before she showed.

We went today they told us we could sit wherever we wanted. We sat at the only table open which wasn’t cleaned. Waited 20 minutes watched multiple people get asked what they wanted to drink that came in after us and we were never even asked what we wanted to drink. So finally we just left.

Had a late lunch with my sister Friday. The food was wonderful along with large portions as always. The beer cheese is awesome! Also wanted to give a big shout out to one of your server "Cheyanne" she went above and beyond the service she gave us. She is a very pleasant and friendly young lady. Can't wait to return soon!

Had a large carry out order today. Everything was correct. Large portions and food was great! Highly recommend.

My wife and I drove 2 hours today just for lunch. The food was awesome as usual and the service was spot on.

Great food! Building needs repairs but great good.

Absolutely sad! What happened to “pop’s BBQ?. When it was in Salt Lick it stayed packed and was the best bbq and service anywhere! After moving to 801, I see it’s steadily went downhill. The service is not even that of a busy McDonald’s even as dine-in. Several items we attempted to order, “they were out of”. We have Coke products…. Okay….. I take a Coke…. Oh we’re out of Coke…. Maybe give us an idea what you actually have. ? ordered fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes… after the fact, oh we’re outta ranch. Rib platter with friend green tomatoes came with plastic utensils?! Sure, if you could cut them with a plastic fork and plastic knife, but no, you couldn’t. Fried mushrooms were barely warm ?. The catfish sandwich was okay. Inside, It was dark, not an ambient light effect, but dark . It was cold inside and the fans were on. Another customer asked if the fan could be turned down or off— “no, I can’t.” “I have no control of it”. I guess this place has become a dive bar for the Lake. Nothing good can I say about the place and that is sad.

Best BBQ I've ever had! They also have the best onion rings I've ever had. I've liked everything I've tried at Pop's including the mains, sides, and desserts.

Found out about this place from a guy at a gas station. Pretty good stuff. The portions are huge and the prices aren't bad. Cheyenne was THE perfect waitress!! Loved the outside seating. The catfish and onion rings were awesome!
