The food here was surprisingly good. The pumpkin cake was obviously freshly made, with a very delicate outer breading, and the right amount of powdered sugar. The catfish was not overdone like most places. The brisket was tender. There were three BBQ sauce options. The decor was unique
Friendly people a littleslow gettingan order in and took some time to get or food, the brisket was on point along with the catfish. But the ribs where hard, totally over cooked or microwaved. I'll probably go back its just today was a bad day for ribs. this review is based on todays visit.
I had the 1 meat platter with 2 sides. I chose the 3 baby back ribs, baked beans, and coleslaw with a half sweet and half unsweetened tea. My ribs were good. I didn't particularly care for the brisket meat in the baked beans, however, I really liked the coleslaw. All around, a good place to grab a bite.
