I was traveling through to visit a loved one in the nursing home in morehead on Friday December 19th 2025 around 6pm and I stopped prior to visiting them and got a $4 biggie bag plain hamburger and after getting home from my visit I woke up from my sleep at 9:30pm vomaiting and sever diarrhea.. well 10 hours later I’m currently at the hospital for being treated for food poisoning.. DO NOT EAT HERE!

The Road less Traveled
Fast service, hot food, friendly service. Plenty of seating, parking is little difficult with drive thru wrapping all the way around next to the highway

Wendy’s is my go-to on the road restaurant. After a relatively short, but very annoying drive, by the time I made it to Morehead, I was in a pisser of a mood & all I wanted was to grab some Wendy’s and lock myself away in my hotel room to do some work. I’ve eaten at a lot of Wendy’s and I have to say, this one is hands down the best Wendy’s I’ve ever eaten at. Ever. The bun was so fresh & fluffy, it was like it was made in house. The fries were so hot that they were still hot by the time I made the 5+ min drive to my hotel. And the staff were super friendly. 100/10. No notes.

At 6:45pm on 9/22/25 There was a girl working in the Drive-Thru with no name tag that argued with a customer when the customer asked politely to make sure that the order was correct. The girl proceeded to close the drive-thru window and say something. When the customer received their food, the Asiago Chicken sandwich, that had been ordered no tomato, no lettuce, not only had those items on it, but also was LOADED DOWN with Ketchup (Instead of Ranch). This does not even come on the sandwich. I believe this to be intentional and vengeful from the girl and/or the staff working. It wasn't a joke and not funny. Even if added to the sandwich by accident, it would not have that amount on it. I've always had good service from Wendy's, but this was horrible. Need some newer mature folks with better attitudes.

How do you run out of bbq sauce ? And the chilli cheese fries were not good I thought Wendy's was supposed to have fresh fries all the time ... these definitely were not fresh!!!

We did an online order late. Pulled up, let them know we had an order and where pulled up to wait. It took an extremely long time to get our food. We were staying at a hotel near by. Like we could walk to it. The food wasn't done. Cold French fries and cold chicken nuggets, raw bacon. It was pretty nasty.
