I've lived here close to 12 years and never knew this store was here until a few weeks ago! Very quaint atmosphere, my granddaughter loved it as well! Good food, good staff, great place to visit!

I was looking for ice cream in Morganfield, Kentucky. A local told me about Jen's but the day I was told about Jen's, Jen's was closed. I had an opportunity for ice cream on a day Jen's was open so I made the most of it.Jen's is located in downtown Morganfield in an old building and it also has a barber shop in the back of the store.What you will find at Jen's is a little bit of everything. There is an old fountain shop counter that serves ice cream and other delicious drinks. They serve sandwiches. There is candy and different type of sodas everywhere.Things I thought that were unique about Jen's were they bottle their own sweet tea and hot chocolate. It's August when I am writing this but I'm guessing the owner is named Jen, told me they bottle their hot chocolate and people buy it to put on their ice cream. I think I will have to try that. I also just want to try it just to think of it as a cold hot chocolate milk.Also, my milkshake was hand-dipped. She actually had to go get more ice cream from somewhere close by but it was worth the small wait. The milkshake was marvelous.I love it when I get to add places to Yelp and be the first one to review it!
