Please dont eat here!!!! Waited 2.5 hours for cold food!! The manager promised 50 percent off our meals then made is wait 40 more min for 25 percent off. And when we brought it up lied on us and said we cussed the waitress out and we did no such thing!! Proceeded to cuss at us and order us to leave for absolutly no reason. If I could give a 0 star I would.
They just hire anyone nowadays. The servers are rude and don’t seem to know what they’re doing. I can’t remember our servers name. I think it was Katie or Kailee, something. No hospitality. No people skills. Walking off to talk to coworkers or people they know at other tables while ignoring our table/requests. It’s just sad that there are no standards for this place anymore.

To say this was the worst experience, good, and service o have ever had at an Applebees or any restaurant would be an understatement.
1. Took about 7 minutes to even get a server to the table.
2. Appetizers took 31 minutes for cheese sticks and wontons.
3. Asked the server to bring out the kids meal with the appetizers. That did not happen. It was for a toddler who wanted her bite bites.
4. Asked the server for appetizer plates. Instead of getting them she went to another table and talked to them for 20 minutes. We ate them off napkins.
5. Food took another 30 minutes.
6. We had 4 adult meals and 2 kids meals. Not one person other than the toddler could eat their food. All the food was extremely overcooked. I would say we each maybe took 2-3 bites. Never did the server ask if everything was ok. As a previous server if I saw that 5 people didn’t eat their food I would ask what was wrong. But she apologized once we told her.
7. We had to ask for any refills we needed.
8. Manager did come to the table. One meal was comped as it was on a separate check and the other 5 melas were given a 50% off. So we had to pay for half the food that everyone took 2-3 bites of. We paid the restaurant to not eat.
They need to get servers who know that they don’t just pay attention to one table when you have multiple. And learn how to not overcook the food. But I guess that’s what the hour from ordering to get our food was. And also learn that you don’t charge customers to not eat!
If I could give 0 stars I would. Do better Applebees Mt.Sterling

Gave me the wrong food and there was caked on dirt in my cup. The fries was supposed to be mashed potatoes and the burger was supposed to be a classic and it had spicy sauce on it. Dont reccomend.

Honestly this is the best Applebee's location that I have eaten at. Initially getting seated sometimes, especially when busy, make take just a few minutes but the service is always good and the food is fantastic. Their boneless wings are very good. Get barbecue sauce!!!

Stood and waited by the front door for close to 13 minutes to be acknowledged by someone. Had employees look at me, walk by to continue wiping off tables or to check on their tables. Absolutely horrible service.

As a dasher, this is the place I dread coming to most. There is no communication and always a HUGE waiting period before being taken care of. It wouldn’t be so bad if they communicated with their guests, but they just leave you waiting up front wondering what’s taking so long. Most of the time it’s a 10-15 minute wait before even being greeted. Then another 20-25 minutes waiting on food. I’ve been a dasher 3 years now and it has always been like this. Definitely needs some improving with customer service! 4 people have walked out tonight.

I placed a curbside order @632p said it would be ready at 652p. I waited until 702p to go in to ask about my order and was told it was still in oven. Then at 708 the lady comes and tells me the do not have any bone in wings only boneless. Finally at 725 they bring my order 30mins after it was to be done. Only to get home 15mins later and see they did not give me the extra ranch or wing sauce that I requested and paid for and they didn’t add any salad dressing sauces for the salad we ordered. Smh

Lesson learned!! Don’t get anything to go! This is supposed to be “very well done” & the nachos that were $13 were the sorriest I’ve ever seen!! 12 chips & no cheese. Highly pissed $60 wasted.

I showed up an hour till close to eat. Not very busy at all. After standing at the podium for close to 15 minutes without being greeted, I left. This review would have better information, had I actually been served and got to try thier food and service. The atmosphere appeared nice but I didn't get to enjoy it.
