My daughter and I were looking for something different to eat rather than the usual fast food options and after reading the reviews decided to give this place a try. We both were highly disappointed with the food. The burger had no flavor even after adding a little salt to the patties. I got their double burger with the sides of coleslaw and cheese bites. It was like eating card board A McDonald's cheese burger would have been more satisfying. So if you want tasty try Mikey D's instead.

I hesitate to give a review on my experience tonight, as I don't believe this is typical. However they didn't answer the phone when I called back to let them know about the problems. I ordered the big double tray, cheddar style, with Cajun seasoning, along with a Cajun seasoned chicken wrap. The cheese on my double puny burger was definitely not cheddar! I couldn't quite decide whether it was queso sauce or some kind of fake, processed cheese, like Kraft or American cheese. The chicken wrap, instead of being Cajun seasoned, was buffalo, which I do not like at all. Having said that the staff seemed nice, and informative, when I had questions, as this was my 1st time at a Cook Out restaurant. Until tonight I was unaware of their existence. They just simply got half of my order wrong.
