It was quite hot in the restaurant this time. Made it uncomfortable to sit there and eat.

They changed their biscuits. Now using frozen. Taste like pillsbury!

Steak and eggs were cooked perfectly! Carnivore option.

Great atmosphere and great food. The mimosas are fabulous. I order from here all the time and I have to say that they do a really good job at preparing their food. The food is always hot and fresh. I enjoy dining in at their establishment as well as ordering it from home. I've eaten at dozens of Cracker Barrels and I have to say that the one in Mt.Sterling Kentucky has the friendliest staff and prepares the food with love and care. The only problem i have is that everytime I order the Grand Pa's country breakfast, with the country fried steak, I never receive the biscuits and gravy that comes with the meal. Its either they forget the biscuits and send extra gravy or send the biscuits with no gravy or they just forget both items. Im gonna say that out of 10 orders I have only received all items, maybe once or twice. So for the future I am gonna make sure to put in the memo that I would like the biscuits and gravy to be included with my meal. Hopefully they can get the order right innthe future because I am definitely gonna be ordering from there again. I highly recommend eating at thos Cracker Barrel if you are in the area.

During yesterday’s visit, my boyfriend discovered a hair on his biscuit. He got the biscuit out of the basket, looked at it then reached it out to me. I declined it, and he told me to look at it. Not a good feeling after eating our food. I had eaten a cornbread muffin from the basket. My boyfriend alerted the waitress and asked for a manager. The manager offered more biscuits as we had already eaten our food. My boyfriend told the manager we would not be back. I am embarrassed to admit that this was a 2nd time of finding a hair in food at this restaurant. Previously, there was a hair baked into a chicken tender. That meal was removed from our bill. Moral of this story, ALWAYS check your food closely before eating!

I ate there for lunch today and loved my experience! The food is always amazing! My waitress Allison was super attentive and sweet! She has such a great personality and truly made the experience that much better!

Food was good as usual. I have a addiction to the chicken breast,carrots and mash!!! The server Allison was awesome, also as usual, I dine here at least 4 times a week (minimun). I always like to keep my same server as she does a tremendous job and is very warm and welcoming, the way you would think an establishment specializing in home cooking would want. She certainly got the memo to treat customers as family. Thank you Allison you are great! Give her a raise!!!

This place had certainly went down hill after Covid. Coffee is horrible and food may have been pre made before but you can really tell it now. Service is almost no existent to the fact it would be faster to get the food and drinks myself. Will more than likely not return to most locations as they are all the same now from here to Lexington.

We came in christmas eve morning! And waitress Allison Complained about having to work that day! And she complained about not having a day off in four weeks! Should be kentucky state laws about that! She complained about only making $2 and hr and when she opens her paychecks they say $0.00! I was shocked. Didn't know what her intentions was but ruined our meal! She needs to be let go!

Cracker Barrel has lowered the lights to add ambience I guess, but it makes it really hard to read the menu! Crank ‘em back up so us seniors can see!!
