ravioli was great food took a little long but it was worth it
The food is good. I’d suggest the carbonara with either spaghetti or fettuccini noodles. Add chicken for $4.
Service is consistently slow, they seem understaffed in front of house. We had reservations for a large group recently and they didn’t seem prepped to serve or seat us.
Young kids rude and service was awful
If you have been to one of the other Melinis locations, you've really been to all of them. This one really doesn't stand out from any of the others. It's pasta and sauce. The bread was fantastic as always. Service was a bit slow, maybe because we were there at lunch and staff was limited? IDK. I didn't have anywhere else to be so it wasn't a real big deal. Would I recommend this place? It's better than the Olive Garden or Fazolis. If you want Italian in a pinch and don't want to drive all the way into Lexington, it's where I would go.
Best Italian restaurant in this area. Excellent food and friendly staff.
The staff are excellent and take great care of us.
I brought my family of 7 into the restaurant today for a meal. I ordered calamari as the appetizer and I asked for bread. The food came (40 min later), we never got any bready (I asked 3 times) and every other table kept getting bread... When the food came out, they told me the kitchen didn't tell him that they were out of calimari. So it was too late to order another appetizer because I wanted my appetizer before my food came out. To make it worse, I always use the bread to dip in my chicken Alfredo, so I didn't get to eat that. They just kept coming up with excuse after excuse and didn't offer to comp the meal AT ALL, or give me a discount whatsoever. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. EVER.
We used to love this place, but quality has declined over the past two years. Today our carry out order was missing an item. But this happens and we did check before leaving.
The issue is the food quality. Our calamari was cold and soggy. The marinara was bland.
We don't go there often these days.
My girl got a pepperoni calzone and it was more grease and cheese than it was pepperonis the sauce in the Alfredo did not taste like Alfredo sauce it just tasted like cheese no flavor bland
This was some of best Italian food we have order out.

My husband and I have been living in the MtSterling area for about 4 years now. We discovered Melini Cucina a few months ago. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It's a nice place to go when you want something different from the norm. The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The staff has always been very hospitable every time we've been there. So happy we found this place.

Had the meat calzone and chicken Parmigiano. Very good quality for the quantity. Quiet calming atmosphere. Decent pricing. Also had the cannoli for dessert. Good but expected a little bit better quality. Tasted like package from store. All in all will return.
