Service was great. The truffle fries were perfect. Also had the shrimp scampi which was great. It was the perfect meal. Highly suggest it if you're in town. Due to work I've been based in town for multiple weeks. I try coming once a week. I would also recommend the bruschetta, lemon caper salmon, and the poboy. All were delicious.
Dining at Romero's isn't a typical restaurant experience. It is more akin to attending an outstanding family dinner party. The staff is attentive, funny, and friendly; the owners are hands on with guests. And the food is absolutely remarkable, obviously crafted with great care and high standards of quality.
My wife and I love this place! The staff are very friendly and the food is out of this world. I can’t believe they aren’t packed 24/7. The owner and his son can’t be beat. They make the food greasy and source all they can locally. If you want great Italian food at a great price this is it. As far as portions go you will leave stuffed. With an appetizer, 2 huge plates, 2 salads, and 2 drinks we spent 1/3 less then if we had driven to Lexington and had better food and service....
