Silver Creek Restaurant and Bar

If I could give this a minus I would! Worse place I have ever attempted to dine at! July 1 went to first Friday in Mt Sterling then to Silver Creek greeted by a lady in gym shorts , asked if we could set on patio was told no it was already reserved, we understood that asked to be seated at a table which we were at a dirty table. 20 minutes later they came and cleaned our table, 15 minutes later they came and took our drink order take us 15 minutes to get our drinks, then a lady comes and gets our food order. We understood it was a busy time but apparently those who live on the golf course get first on everything. People came in and was seated around us they know them by their first name and their drink order was quickly taken, and their food order as well. Their food was delivered before ours and we wasn’t even offered another drink. Then we watched as people they do by their first name came in with camping chairs and went to the patio find a little strange.We went to the front door told the lady we were leaving and here was money for our two drinks after 15 minutes of standing there we decided just decided To leave the lady ran us down in the parking lot and give us our change told us to come back and she would buy our dinner that is never going to happen and I’m telling anyone that reads this Do not waste your time the aggravation was horrible.

Amazing food, staff was wonderful! Very accommodating on a Friday night with our party of 15! Very reasonable priced!

Blooming onion was completely soggy and had grease dripping from the box. The bacon cheeseburger nachos I ordered was an absolute joke. There was barely any toppings added to the chips and it was missing the 1000 island dressing. The cheese was not melted at all and there wasn't even enough of it to cover 1/3 of the chips. Complete waste of money. Will not be back.

Had the Sirloin Sandwich = Delicious!! Listened to Alice Cooper, Rolling Stones and Cheap Trick! Life is incredibly Great today!

Everything we’ve had has been excellent. The chicken salad wrap I had today was light and tasty. Great service!

Heard about it at the gym. Hard to find but well worth it. Chris, our server was very attentive. Food better than expected. That dessert...wow. we will be back Sunday for the buffet.

I usually don’t complain but I have been there three times since December and whatever has happened to management and the service? There was a manager in the dining room she had dark black hair and skinny rude and unprofessional. My meal was a ribeye and it was dry and burnt on on side. The next was under cooked. She obviously doesn’t know her temperatures and clearly a amateur in the business. The cleanliness of the restaurant has went downhill too.

Was our first time ordering and will be our last. Very high priced so expected a nice dinner. Would have been better off going to McDonald's. Ordered 2 steak dinners to go. One med rare the other med well. Both were rare. Was like chewing on leather. YUCK! Didn't get the salad or any sauces with our blooming onion. Baked potatoes were cold. ?

Great place! The owners are very accommodating to customers and the food is phenomenal. The atmosphere is welcoming. Overall a wonderful establishment!

We stayed in a horrid hotel in Mt. Sterling but decided we'd give the steak house a try. It was full on a Tuesday night! We just knew we were in for a long wait...but no! I walked up to the desk and said a table for two. The young lady said "follow me" and like that we were seated. The food was perfect, the drinks were good. Would drive an hour to eat here again. Had the same experience on our return trip a week later.

Great burgers. The bartender was pulling double duty as a server also, but held it all down nicely. Very friendly. The fountain drinks were a little.... off. Maybe not enough carbonation. Nothing that would prevent me from going back, though.

We ended up waiting about 15 minutes which is not abnormal these days. Once we were seated our server came and took our drink order quickly. Then when she returned we gave our order. At this point it took a little while. Our server checked on us and was extremely stunned we didn't have our food. She went and checked and apparently the ticket had been lost, once she straightened it out, 5 minutes passed then we received our appetizer then a few minutes later our food arrived. The food was good and we will go back. Atmosphere was nice and clean.

I had the Silver Creek Burger and Fries. Both were very good. The fries were nice and crispy. They had Sam Adams Octoberfest in bottles, but no Sam Adams on tap. There was plenty of free parking. Apparently, they were short-handed when I visited and the service was a bit slow. Our server changed while we were there. After that, the pace picked up a bit. Overall, a nice place to visit.

This place is absolutely terrible. Made a reservation for 7:30 pm, was seated promptly but waited 45 minutes just to have our order taken. Upstairs was maybe 30% full, 3 waitresses covering 10 tables (at the most). Service is trash, definitely recommend Cattleman's or MsDonalds for that matter

Parker and his crew do an amazing job. The food was excellent! Staff was great! We will definitely be back again.
