Stopped in on a vacation road trip from Ohio to the Smoky Mountains. Only a few minutes off the highway and it is definitely worth it. Great food and service! Kids loved it too.

As a frequent visitor to many bar & grill settings due to my music schedule, I was absolutely amazed from first time I arrived at the selection of food, pricing and drink selections from the soda to adult beverages. Even though it's rooted in a historical building, the owner did a great job updating it just enough to keep the charm of the old town feeling. The staff is fun and always looking to keep your table or bar seat serviced. Mel was one of my favorites because she's a talker just like me. And I can't forget Mya who wore a toolbelt for the drink specials. That's the kind of atmosphere most want and I found it right there at Down On Main Bar & Grill. Considering the fact it is a grill, the cooks always do a great job handing the rush of big crowds too. I would recommend anyone traveling the I75 corridor or visiting the Renfro Valley area stop in for some great food, live entertainment or just a good ol' cold one. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
