Every time I've ever visited Donut King they've had fresh, delicious donuts. I would definitely recommend.*If you visit, make sure to double check the hours. They usually close around 1pm.
Small town donut shop in Mt.Washington they have long Johns and you get them cream or custard filled, which is our family favorite. The have apple fritters and sprinkled donuts for the kids as well strawberry and chocolate milk. Make sure you get in before 1pm when they close if You want donuts to fullfil that craving as well as make sure you get a long John before their gone! I personally know the owners son great people. I rather by locally then from a corporation.

Stopped by Donut King around hoping for a solid donut and some coffee. The donuts looked great but ended up being quite stale and dry, and unfortunately, there was no coffee available — which was a letdown .
It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it didn’t quite hit the mark either. Might give it another shot earlier in the day to see if things are fresher then.
This was at 10 am
