Gallant Fox Brewing Co. - Mt Washington

I would love to share my experience with the food but after sitting for almost 30 minutes waiting for someone to come to my table, I was informed that you have to order from your phone. There was nothing that indicated that at all even on the menu. To say that this place is a joke is an understatement.

First and foremost I've been coming to this place for years. I will say right out of the gate that the service here is the best you'll find imo. The ladies that run the place, food and drinks are awesome! Second, the food is incredible too. Surprisingly good for a bar.

We started going every Tuesday night for Trivia night. It was so much fun with our friends.

Then, for some reason they changed the trivia system and host. The guy that was running it was doing great! Always on time, fun innovative scoring, etc. Then they switched. I won't pretend to be an expert around trivia or how to host one, I can only speak to my experience and that of our friends and some of our competitors.
It went incredibly downhill, fast. Trivia almost always starts late.
Not by a little... By a lot. Because the theme nights get very busy, you have to get there 1 to 2 hours early if you want a table. The 5 minute breaks between rounds often go 10 to 15 minutes dragging the it out further. Multiple times throughout the trivia there are problems... Always with the problems where you have to go stand in line and wait to have your score fixed because of one issue or another.

On a recent themed night a competitor of our came up and said good to see you all, we go elsewhere for trivia on Tuesdays now to follow the other host, only came back here for the friends theme. We followed suit.

I don't think gallant fox will care as they're as busy as they can be so if trivia regulars go elsewhere but the seats are still full, meh. But I hope they work out the consistency of their trivia issues so we could return one day. But for now, we will truly miss the service and food because the trivia has become truly problematic and not fun. We started following heinsight trivia at other venues as its just a better experience.

I know we aren't the only ones, I heard several tables around us complaining at our final night of trivia about the same issues.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. I would have given them a 5 star on the food, but their menu is a little limited. with being said we also eat there at least once a week. I absolutely love the Breakfast Burger, and my wife love their Chicken tender basket.
The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and about the beer on tap, which changes almost daily. The atmosphere is amazing weather you want to sit inside or sit outside.
In closing if you want a really neat place to go with good drinks and good food this is the place.

Went on their trivia night. They might as well be closed to the public on trivia night. Not a seat in sight unless you wanted to play trivia. We were told we could forget about a seat cuz everyone in there would be staying for trivia & they wouldn't be leaving any time soon. We left & probably won't go back.

Nice and welcoming place with good beer and food. I like being able to order food and beer on demand online without having to wait for a server.

The best part of the dinner was the pretzel. The reuben sandwich wasn't bad. The onion rings were greasy and over cooked, the bologna sandwich was also greasy burnt, the cocktails were watery. Staff was friendly but just dropped off orders and left.
