My wife had a burger, it came out without a spec of seasoning, was dry, and lacking any flavor. I had the casserole of the day which was a Mexican chicken casserole. Basically it was chicken cream of mushroom soup and salsa, served on a total of 5 stale tortilla chips. It was more of a dip than A casserole and very. As for the overall experience we were seated rather quickly but it took about 6 minutes to get waited on and another 5 for drinks to be brought out. Finally ordered food, came out in a somewhat decent time, but were never offered refills or had anyone to stop by and see how the food was.

We loved this place! The service was quick and pleasant. The food was very tasty. The atmosphere was nice and perfect for a girls' lunch out or day-date with your significant other. We didn't expect the portions to be so large. We could have stayed with a half sandwich and the cup of chicken & dumplings. The cup of chicken & dumplings were very good and very hearty. We had their chicken salad sandwich on homemade bread (YUM!!) and a prime rib sandwich (be sure to ask for au jus). It was all so good. Of course, we kept staring at the dessert case filled with cakes (8 or 9 options) and pies (about 5 choices) and cheesecakes, so we each chose a slice of cake to go. Everything is made there. The server told us they've been there over 35 years. They have daily specials, a variety of salads, and several sandwiches, in addition to the dessert choices, and their special fruit tea. Their carry-out service was busy, too.

Ordered a small Oreo cream cake from here for my husband and I’s anniversary, and it is so pretty and delicious. I was worried the cake would be too sweet, bc of the Oreos, chocolate cake, and cream, but it’s not, it’s perfect. The cream in the middle almost has a tang, like cheesecake, and it is so good, and balances it all out. I told them I didn’t need any extravagant decorations, just if the lady had anymore extra icing in her piping bag, do what she wanted. Isn’t this so pretty? We got glitter, and even separate colors with the green leaves and white roses. I can’t wait to order again, and I do recommend. The cake is really good.

I'm from out of State, came here for work (PTL). They have the best quiche I've ever had in my life,and the chicken casserole was amazing! It was comfort food. Everyone was very nice, polite, and it was packed. But, we got seated quick. This is definitely a place I would recommend and I'm really glad I got to experience it.
