My husband and I tried this place for 1st time.First want to say the restaurant looked nice with its tons of Christmas decor( a bit early though) ..got seated immediately . chips and salsa were good so that's a good start.The server however seemed to try rushing us to order and finally I said it's our 1st time here we need more time. After we did order we decided to get some cheese dip but then couldn't find the server..hubby went to bathroom and saw her and ordered it and she came by the table and basically threw it on the table so it splattered all over the plate. Our food was not good at all..1st I got the wrong taco ( which was replaced on separate plate) but the taco that did come on the plate was put right in the beans so it was covered with beans and soggy.My chili relleno was horrible I could barely even cut into it.Husbands chili colorado was tough .needless to say we won't go back. I can always give a restaurant a 2nd try thinking maybe just an off day but that's no excuse for such unfriendly service.

Ordered take out… the restaurant was empty inside… I’ve been here before and it’s been ok… tonight we arrived before the time to pickup food… arrived home and the order was wrong and cold and I mean cold… I was starving and just sucked it up and ate it…the flavor was beyond bland… I will not be returning!!! I order something several times a month and it’s been getting worse… tonight was the nail in the coffin for us… Good bye La Cocina!

We were sat in a back corner booth which we wanted a booth so it was fine. We were asked by the host what we wanted to drink and then our server came around to ask us the same thing when she finally answered us she then asked what we wanted to eat we told her we needed just a minute. When she came back to get our order we asked nicely if the waters we asked for with lemon if they could bring said lemon. She took our order and didn’t check on us till our food came out. My friend ordered a bean burrito and stated that she can’t have beef due to allergies and they brought her out a cheesy beef burrito. They then got mad at my friend when she told them she couldn’t eat the burrito due to the beef and then they brought her out an ice cold bean burrito. My quesadilla was fine but my rice was under cooked. They asked if we wanted more chips and never brought any out and ignored us when we would ask for things. We also asked for our check three times and finally got asked if we wanted refills after we asked for the check. As someone who works in a restaurant serving I understand some nights are rough but they aren’t busy and the surveys just couldn’t be bothered. Personally I won’t be eating here again there are so many better Mexican restaurant's in Murray.

My food was burnt. Service was very slow at lunchtime. Extremely expensive. I can't ever remember being charged $8.99 for one beer. I will not be back. Two items off the lunch menu and a beer cost $45.

This is a great local Mexican restaurant in Murray. Their nachos are thick and crispy and their salsa is great. The portions are very generous and the staff is very friendly. There is always a fun atmosphere and it is filled with the sound of people having a good time laughing and having a blast with friends or family. I really suggest a full order of house nachos...it has everything shrimp, steak, chicken, chorizo, cheese,peppers,onions and tomatoes. My wife and I stopped by for a small bite to share and it was such a large serving it would make a great appetizer or plate for 4 adults to share.
If you want takeout late they’ll just hang up on you and act like they can’t hear you. What a joke.
