The young man sitting at the table he’s at, I was going to sit there as I waited for them to prepare my meal, and it looked like a baby had smeared food all over it and hair was stuck to the table. I went to sit at another table across from it with chairs, it too was slightly dirty and needed to be wiped down.
I’m here on New Year’s Day and Murray isn’t busy, and they only have had a few go through the drive through and I’m the only one dining in currently. I arrived at 4pm and he sat down at the table he’s at 4:10pm and has sat there as I type this out at 4:25pm looking at his phone, and he works here.
This young man isn’t worth shooting, figuratively speaking, and if I was the manager right now, he would be told he was fired. When I arrived at 4pm, he was walking around the register literally dragging his feet because he’s too lazy to pick them up. While they’re not busy, he could be wiping off tables and cleaning the dining room instead of sitting on his big azz and looking at his phone. (If he was on his break, then I stand corrected)

They always have good food and fast service. They are always friendly and their floors, bathrooms and lobby are the cleanest restaurant I've ever seen.

Terrible food. I ordered fried chicken tacos, and I was given grilled chicken. I wouldn't have been so upset had they at least been good, but they were horrible. Cold and soggy, tasted nothing like a taco. This was my second time giving taco John's a Chance, and both times I regretted it. I will not be back a third time and will make sure my family goes elsewhere as well.

My roommate has "alpha-gal", a tick spread disease that makes it so she can't eat beef, pork, etc. Only chicken and fish meat. The Taco John workers have been consistently NICE about making sure there was no "contamination" from Beef in her food, even though it means a little extra work. And you just don't see that anymore. Maybe it's just Murray, KY being a friendly town, but, regardless, I can't say enough good things about their staff.

Picking up a order, and the people that came in after me was receiving their food. I asked if they had received the order and before I finished speakthe manager (Shearra) said I have yours here, but it went to someone in the drive thru. I said this is affecting my job and she said we only have 2 workers. I said that's not my fault, she replied not ours either. She threw the food on the counter and said get this out of here. I had another order on hand to deliver plus this order so both was late, and the other was cold.she also forgot the drink so on my free time I had to go back and get the drink for the customer.
After I arrived customers that came in behind me who placed an order was receiving their food before me. I asked an employee the manager Sharrah said I have yours right here yet it went to someone in the drive thru. I told her this affects my customers and my ratings that is when she became furious and said well there is only two of us. I responded that it wasn’t my fault that was the case but I still have customers to get their food to them in a timely fashion. Then another customer in the store said good luck to me as she walked out. Once Sharrah was done making the order she was rude and slammed the food down on the counter and said get this out of here now. Which I responded thank you. Then after leaving realized they hadn’t put my customers drink in the bag with the order. So after delivering the food and the customer I explained that I would go back and get their drink and did. I also had two orders that one and another which affected two customers.
What the & $#? Is going on? Loved the boss bowl but lately it's been a hit or miss deal. Sometimes I get what I ordered then I get stuff like this.... And that opening as soon as I got home... Talk about disappointment and being overcharged for something let's also not the rice was old and turning hard.

I'm sick and tired of restaurants cutting their portion sizes and jacking up the prices. Taco John's is the last place I thought would do this. It's an absolute disgrace to pay these prices when your literally getting half the meal you used to.
