Tap 216 came through clutch after our fishing trip and listen… this place was a whole vibe 🔥
We pulled up at night and the energy was already there. Good music, people enjoying themselves, and it definitely had that lively college hangout feel without being chaotic. You can tell this is one of those spots students love, but it’s still welcoming enough for anybody just looking for good food and a fun atmosphere.
Now let’s talk about what really matters the food.
The wings? 🔥 Flavorful, cooked right, and not skimpy. The burgers? Solid. Juicy, filling, and exactly what you want after a long day outdoors.
And right before we left, it looked like a band was getting ready to perform, which tells me this is more than just a restaurant.. it’s somewhere you go to eat AND enjoy yourself.
If you’re looking for a laid back spot with good food, good music, and a crowd that knows how to vibe, Tap 216 is definitely worth checking out.
It wasn't what it used to be. I miss the pool area in the back. Preferred when it was an Italian resturaunt. No real seating, atmosphere wasn't what it used to be

Aaron the bartender is a 50 out of 10. Best bartender ever. We come to this bar because of him. Wealth of knowledge on the community to how to make the best drinks ever !!

I did not even have the chance to try the food, or the drinks, or to rate the quality of their service. We were seated, and after 12 minutes of waiting and seeing the server to come and go taking care of the other table at the patio, we decided to leave.

This was our 1st time to visit Murray, KY and wanted to check out some local finds. We decided to tryTap 216 because of the reviews and they had live music on a Fri evening. Ethan Torsak was the performer and he did such an amazing job. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere superb. Only complaint is our pretzel bites and onion rings were overcooked in grease that needed to be changed and cod had no flavor or seasoning. However, we would visit this place again if ever back in the neighborhood just because of the atmosphere and service
