One of the best places in Murray to get a good meal cooked to order with great staff!
Rudy's is a top notch resturant with down home cooking. Fast service and friendly smiles. The daily plate lunches are Awesome!!! Reasonably priced too. You are cheating yourself if you haven't been there. ?
very friendly service, excellent food and couldn't believe how cheap thier prices are.. well done
Ate here tonight with my husband and 2 kids (7&4) and oh my goodness, totally sucked. The steak was so dry. Had a hard time getting a refill. Baked potato butter wasn't melted and didn't even receive our cheesesticks. Used to this was the best place to come, I'll never waste my time again. Our family of 4 food was $80.30. 2 12 Oz steaks, drinks, 2 kids meals hotdogs ? $80!!
We went after reading reviews, Great Service! Best waffle EVER! Everything we ate was very good and this will become a regular spot for us..Its crowded and you seat yourself, but very fast getting our food even though it was packed..we will be going back for sure..We loved this place!! And they do accept a bank card.
Best hamburger and crispy fries EVER!!
Great place to eat. Opens early. Friendly folks.
I have visited The Bull Pen for many years. My steak is always as I ordered it and delicious. I look forward to each visit. Don't wait till late to arrive. GET THERE EARLY! Service is prompt when you arrive early. Im there when the door opens. Once it gets crowded service can take much longer. My favorite spot for a perfect steak!
I'm very disappointed in my experience last night the only reason I am giving the place 2 stars is due to the lady working the front & one of the servers. I had been wanting steak for about a week & decided to drive almost an hour to try this place since it was showing up on my Facebook. My daughter & I were seated right away by a really sweet older lady who I thought was the owner because of the way she seemed to have pride in the restaurant. The place has about 20 tables to it, some are booths but a majority are 4 top tables. It's style is very rustic & you could tell they were going for an old ranch style decor. We sat for a little over 5 minutes when the older lady walked by & noticed we still did not have our drinks & we had our menus. She asked me if someone had helped us yet, I told her no. She said she was so sorry & she would get someone immediately. A few moments lasted our server Amy came to take our drink order which was 2 sweet teas with lemon, I told her we were also ready to order our food. We both ordered the 10 Oz ribeye I wanted fried green tomatoes & endless salad bar, my daughter wanted fried okra & a one trip salad bar, we also ordered some fries with cheese & bacon for an appetizer. She wrote everything down & said she would get it put in. We go to make our salads & sit down, after about 15 mins we still did not have our drinks and our salads were almost gone. The nice lady walked by again & she asked me if we had ordered, I told her yes ma'am but we still did not have our drinks. She was VERY upset by this point & said she was so very sorry for our server dropping the ball, at that point I chalked it up to they were busy since I have been a server before. A few moments later our server came & said she had forgotten what we ordered to drink so I reminded her. She brought us our drinks which came in huge plastic cups. About 5 minutes later a lady brought us our fries, she asked me if we wanted anything to dip the fries in since there wasn't anything on the order, I asked for ranch. She immediately brought it to us. By then we had been there for a little over 25 minutes which wasn't too bad. We sat there for another 30 minutes without our server or any other server checking on us AT ALL. By then my tea was almost empty, my daughters was 1/2 empty & we were both saying how hungry we were but didn't want to fill up on fries or salad (hers was gone). I let another 10 minutes pass & we got up. I went to the front & explained to the nice lady that we did not have our food or ticket yet but I wanted to pay for what we did eat. She was ABSOLUTELY shocked that we had not been served, she was angry when I told her another server had to bring our fries that were cold & our drinks had not been refilled. She told me I did not owe anything & that should owe me, I told her that I wanted to pay for what we did have because it's not her fault. She finally allowed me to pay $10.00 even though I know the bill should have been more. It turns out the lady is the owners mother, she is super nice & if they had more of her I guarantee my experience would have been better.
Seated okay, too long of a wait for drinks, and food. Food was average, nothing special. need more help.

We had heard this was a really great place to eat...we where there at 5:00 and waited an hour 1/2 for a table and two hours for our food. I had ordered my steak medium and it was well done, had to ask for silverware and napkins, empty dishes was never removed from the table, we ask for to-go boxes from two different servers and finally had to get them from the cashier. I could have been a little more understanding if they were busy but, I seen many empty tables. We walked out onto the porch and talked to several people with the same complaints.
Waited 30 minutes to be seated. So far we have been waiting an hour for our food. Our appetizer hasn’t arrived yet. Can’t comment on the food yet because it has yet to arrive
Tried this steak house it was a 45 min drive from where we live. Cool building and restaurant. But the food was just OK, defiantly not worth the drive. Service was good.
Hubby insisted on giving this place 4 stars based on his steak and the attention from the servers. But based on everything else, it's a solid 3. This was on our list of things to try (2.5 hr drive for us). We arrived 30 minutes before they opened & just sat on the porch in rocking chairs. People started rolling in and taking their place in line at the door. We continued to sit and just wait. But the closer it got to opening time, we realized we better get in line with the rest of the folk. These people were taking this very seriously, like storming the door like it was a concert or something (no joke)! And then once we were inside, it was a free for all, people scrambling to grab a table. It was part comical, part sad, that folks are that determined to get a seat to eat! So needless to say, there's no waiting for a hostess to seat you: you're on your own. We were greeted by a server fairly quickly after sitting, but the servers are understandably a little frantic at opening time because of the onslaught of customers. Granted, this scene may not be the norm on a weeknight. But on this Saturday evening, it was somewhat of a circus. As far as the meal, hubby said the 10oz ribeye was "good". Salad bar was average. Sides were average. I'm glad we did it, but it probably wasn't good enough to make another 2.5 hr drive. ***One of the things we enjoyed most was touring the "old York farm" .... Sort of an old Tuscon feel, complete with saloon.
I was in the USA on a business trip, and I was looking for a real American steakhouse. I found this restaurant on the net, it wasn't close to me hotel (more than 150 miles). but it looked very good and the reviews were very positive so I decided to visit them. And I wasn't disappointed. I had the 14 oz rib eye, and it was one of the best steaks I have ever tested if not the best, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was amazing. I really enjoyed my meal there, and I recommended it to all who I know in that area in the US. If you want a real American style restaurant with exellent steak this is the place to go.
