We ordered our food for takeout (since we were lodging in one of the cabins), and it was excellent! Exceptionally good, and reasonably priced. From what I could see, the atmosphere appeared very nice. We will definitely eat here again!
This was a wonderful place to eat. We sat outside on the deck. Service was fast and efficient. I had the shrimp tacos. They were excellent. Not too spicy at all. I also had one of the best strawberry daiquiris I have ever had. We will definitely be back when in Somerset!
The atmosphere and view are unbeatable. There are a couple of things we experienced that might be of interest. !. When I received the check in addition to state and local tax there was a “Corps” fee of more than $2.00. I suspect this is a fee paid to the US Corps of Engineers because they manage Lake Cumberland and the surrounding property. Also they had me add the tip on their portable electronic device and when I received the paper receipt the tip was $2.00 higher than the amount I listed on their machine. It wasn’t worth $2.00 to create a scene so I didn’t say anything but others beware.
The little blonde "hostess" was extremely rude and seemed to be annoyed when we agreed to wait the 15 minutes for a table. Inside, there were only 3 other parties sitting(and eating). The place was pretty empty. Our server was amazing right up until we got our food. He didn't come back, and we needed refills. We had just come in off the lake and were super thirsty. But over all we had a good experience. The food was fantastic. The bathrooms were also clean and smelled amazing! The girl at the front was the only downside to our night. Could someone remind her that when guests come in to dine with you and spend that kind of money on a meal.... YOU are there to help keep guests coming back. You're almost on a stage, and the guests can HEAR everything you talk about up there. ?My friend wanted the fried banana peppers & baked potato. You guys were unfortunately out of both.
Went to the legislative meet and greet. The food was phenomenal and the staff was friendly and very professional. It also had a beautiful view of the lake! I highly recommend this restaurant!
My shrimp tacos were good but seemed light on shrimp. The crab dip was weirdly spicy, not sure what the seasoning was. The cole slaw looked good and creamy but was way too sour. Once again, not sure what kind of seasoning, excessive lemon juice perhaps. French fries were good and loved the atmosphere. We sat out on the deck. Great view!
Kid-friendliness: Our kids loved sitting outside in the balcony. The cheeseburger kids meal looked really good.
Ordered the grouper sandwich. Fish was seasoned well and cooked near perfectly, but toppings were bleh and fries were cold. It's overpriced because of those misses. Had it all been on point, their prices would be appropriate.Server seemed to be overextended, which is increasingly common. They had an issue with their water lines, so we found out AFTER being seated we were limited to canned drinks. It wants to be classy, but it suffers in too many key areas to earn it. As is, not worth the drive.
Our dinners were brought out cold after a long wait for food. The server was often talking at the register. They microwaved my food to heat it up. For the prices charged we expected better service.
Food was good! Service wasn’t the best, the waitress spoke so low you couldn’t hear what she was saying. The eye rolls and snippy responses wasn’t appreciated. It was a little pricey for the amount of food you get.
We have visited The Lees Ford marina restaurant many times. Always good quality food and cold beer. We recently went at the beginning of may for lunch. Food was once again delicious. I had the fish and chips and a beer and my wife had the shrimp tacos and a beer. Bill came to just over $40. What surprised me is the amount of taxes added on to the top of that. Over 17% tax. Burnside food, Burnside alcohol, Kentucky liquor, Kentucky food, Corps fee. I know its not the restaurant fault, but it is getting a little crazy.

We went to watch a concert, even made reservations. Upon arrival they said the section was full. The fish was undercooked. The grilled shrimp was very spicy. The portions are tiny compared to the price. The music was awesome!
Parking: Four handicap spaces in front.
Great place to eat in special occasions little pricy but it's worth it.
I had maple bacon and Brussel sprouts with French fries. It was amazing! My husband had a cheeseburger and fries. It was a bit pricey but very delicious.
Food was great! Try the queso. They redid the dining room and I don’t love it. Beautiful view of the lake
Great spot on the lake for a great meal. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar downstairs, awesome atmosphere ?
