I’ve been frequenting the tavern for about a year now. No matter if I’m there for drinks or just food, the service is always great. I’ve ordered the same thing every time I’ve been there and they have never once gotten it wrong! 10/10 would recommend! Aside from food, they always have a great live musician on the weekends. I’ve never been disappointed by any person in there performing!
We just stopped in for breakfast today and we were thoroughly impressed. The quality and quantity of the meal was great. We sampled the Sunrise Platter and Maw-Maws Waffles from the breakfast menu. If you are looking for a satisfying breakfast then you need to visit the New Castle Tavern.
Great food and service! The fried fish and other fried foods had just the right thickness of batter and no grease was dripping off. I loved the salad, fried fish, hot chicken and fried green tomatoes.
