The history of the Johnson family in the Sherwood has lasted for over a century. The revival of the Sherwood is a advantage to the New Haven community.

Great food and drinks with a local, authentic feel in both the bar and restaurant. Went to the bar for live music and an appetizer then into the restaurant for a quiet dinner. Pulled pork nachos are enough for two, and the steak was perfect.

One of the best steaks in the area.
The menu are very comparable in the region. My husband and I traveled and ate from Ritz Carlton hotel , to a down to earth local restaurant in New Orleans, Gulf Coast, etc. and I believe, Sherwood Inn is the best place in town

I didn't stay/eat here but it looks like a unique place to visit. It's located on the property of the Kentucky Railway Museum.Nearby activities: Railroad museum and train ? rideNoteworthy details: Rebuilt hotel, originally in wood which burned down.Lot of history here.

This place is awesome, the food is really good and during the summer they have free shrimp boil with every alcohol beverage you buy, the bartenders are an awesome bunch of people and the owner is a pretty great lady, I would advise not to pass this place up on your way through new haven ky and the place even has historyFood & drinks: You get what ya want to drink and the food is awesome

At first when we pulled up, I didn’t want to go in. I wanted a restaurant and it looked like a bar. When we walked in we didn’t know where to sit, so we just sat at the bar. Finally we asked if this was a restaurant, and she showed us where to sit. ? We were super confused in the beginning but I’m so glad we stayed and ate here! The building itself was so beautiful and I couldn’t stop looking at everything. Those old windows ?!!The waitress was so kind and the drinks she made were delicious!!! I told her what I wanted and she definitely made it happen! The LOADED POTATO SKINS ? 10/10Pepper jack cheese balls 10/10I will forever crave these appetizers now ??My husband and I shared the pork chop meal and I did not get a picture but they were amazing!! And paired perfectly with mashed potatoes and green beans!

Super good food. I recommend the spinach & artichoke dip. The building is very unique and beautiful. Great bartender "abby" who gave the small town restaurant/bar vibe. Very cool place and worth visiting.

Prices are off the chain and not on the menu. Steak was ok, but nowhere near worth a $60 mealIf you come bring some ear plugs. It’s as loud as the racetrack in the dining room.As for the servers they worked hard and were running their legs off.

Most of the food is pretty good. The only steak they carry is a ribeye, a bit over priced on the steak. It was

Very small but the food and service was good. Extremely loud when it gets packed.. Recommend going during off hours. Need to offer wifi.. None available.
