The Barrel House Bed & Breakfast

Quiet, secluded, spacious, plenty of room inside and out. Throughly enjoyed this place and would definitely revisit the next time I'm in the area. We enjoyed hiking the property and walking the road. Sipping coffee on the porch while looking at the mountains, the pond, and the chicken across the field were definitely highlights of ours. If you are looking for the country life without the hustle and bustle this will definitely be the place for you. You won't be disappointed!

Great, clean place with amazing scenery hosted by 2 awesome people! We stayed here around September 20( don't recall exact date). We were here for my 40th birthday which was earlier in the month. We were invited down to visit with the hosts, but i ended up going down solo because my wife was tired from a day of bourbon tasting. We had good conversation and bourbon! When he learned it was my birthday, he even broke out a special bottle! This evening really made my trip! Thanks again! Hope to be back again!

This place checked all the boxes for me , Quite out of the way , large comfortable Beds , Nice big shower , Great Host, Spectacular View of Knobs & the fields My 3rd Great grand father & sons farmed from the 1800s till 1920. a nostalgic trip for sure . the lime stone waters of Kentucky water my family Tree .

The Barrel House Bed & Breakfast is nestled in a holler about 25 minutes south of Bardstown. The spacious accommodations contain two bedrooms located on opposite sides of the house separated by a large common area. there is a large single bathroom with an oversized shower. The kitchen is well equipped and a grill and fire pit outside. While cell service can be spotty in the hills of Kentucky, WIFI is available to plan your daily trips to The Bourbon Trail. The hosts are extremely hospitable and after this trip, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else while visiting the area.Thanks for a wonderful stay, I can't wait to visit again.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable, the place is well thought out and the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into making sure you have everything you need during your stay in a very comfortable space. We were warmly welcomed, the hosts are very personable and hospitable and great people. The location is absolutely wonderful and is a quiet, peaceful and beautiful location perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed taking a run down the road, a campfire and grilling during our stay. I can't see myself ever staying at a hotel in the area again, this was way better way to start and end your day!

Absolutely amazing spot in the the middle of bourbon country!! The hosts ate the most down to earth amazing people.. had an amazing night sharing bourbon and food on the patio. Will definitely stay here every time we come to the bourbon trail

My buddies and I had an amazing experience staying here. The owners are so nice and hospitable and the accommodations were very comfortable. I would highly recommend The Barrel House for a stay in bourbon country or for just a great getaway.
