Big City Pizza Nicholasville

Just wow!!! What a wonderful selection of specialty pizzas. We got 2 of their special offers, 2 large pizzas for $25, one specialty pizza and another large with 2 toppings. We thought we were getting a 3 cheese pizza with the cheeses typical in a mac’ n cheese, but it literally had macaroni… what a glorious mistake, it was the first of our 4 pizzas to disappear! It was a hit! The hand tossed crust is chew, the stone baked bottom is cooked to perfection. The sauce is flavorful. All the toppings were fresh and delicious. They offer a student or military/veteran discount. Super appreciative but not expected. If you’re in the mood for pizza, come here, you’ll love it. The other specialty pizza had 3 kinds of pepperoni…sooo good!

We've eaten here several times recently and it's been amazing every time. However, tonight they were so much slower than I've ever experienced here. By the time my food was delivered, the pizza was cold to the touch and the bread on my meatball sub was soggy. I'm sure it was busy, what with being a Saturday night and all. And I am sure it was prepared in quick fashion but I am also certain it sat in that warming bag in the very nice delivery guy's car for an EXTREMELY long time. I'm by no means making any wide sweeping comment about never ordering from here again BUT this was a huge disappointment this evening and felt like a waste of money because it was definitely sub-par, AT BEST. I don't mind to pay a little more for quality food but ya know, the quality part has to actually be there. Do better, Big City Pizza.

They said it would be an hour. When we called at an hour and 15 min they said it would be here any min. Then when we called 20 min later they said it was about to leave the shop. They totally lied to us. I don't leave bad reviews and have only left maybe 5 in my life but when I asked for a discount they said no. So I cancelled the order. Been eating here for years but sadly I will never eat here again. Also I will never work with them again for our local fundraisers.

After waiting an hour and half for a pizza that was supposed to be delivered in 30 minutes and two phone calls still no pizza. Third phone call the manager rudely said that it will be another hour and asked if a refund was sufficient. Big City Puzza in Richmond, KY is awesome, but Nicholasville is the absolute worst. Way to care for your customers and make no effort to make it right.

It's legit. Fantastic customer service from Joshua, and the pizza is pretty great. Just stop by. Writing a paragraph about it doesn't do it justice.

I hate to write a bad review because this is my favorite pizza place. I’ve never had brown pepperoni from here or anywhere in my life. I was too afraid to eat them.
