I grew up with Bob Evans and where I live now they've all closed. Best biscuits and gravy to my memory. And I was not disappointed.

I had not been to Bob Evans for 35 years but we decided to try it before the movie. It was very good I had the turkey and stuffing meal with mashed potatoes and corn instead of the carrots my husband got the biscuit meal. Both were wonderful and our waitress was kind and on top of things.

After today I will no longer eat at Bob Evans unless I'm out of state the last 4 or 5 visits my order hasn't been right and they staple the to go bag shut so you can't check your order before you leave unless you want to rip the bag open I only can this morning because my son wanted to eat there I placed my order and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes and it was I got there a minute or 2 early and seen it sitting behind the counter and sit there for 20 or 30 minutes waiting on someone to bring it to me and check me out so it was already cold when i got it then got home and they didn't even give me my sons food so I had to let my food sit again to drive back to get my son's daughter and biscuits so I paid 30 dollars for 2 sausage and biscuit because I wanted a fresh breakfast not a microwave breakfast so my dog got the cold breakfast

We wasn't happy with the food! Probably won't go back.
Restaurant was so cold I ate with my coat on. Biscuit was hard, breakfast potatoes were lukewarm, but gravy and omelet were delicious, and service was great!

Dinner was blah. Server was distracted. Didn't wait for our choices then came and asked what we wanted again. Asked a question about menus and she said she would check then came back 15 min later and laid that item down. Food was canned not home made. Very dissapointing. Best part was banana bread.

My food was uneatable the hashbrowns were rock hard the scramble eggs were runny and the coffee was cold. I won't be back for while.
We were told it was a new cook after the fact.

Maybe not everybody agrees with me on this, but I am a firm believer in customer service being the biggest part of the experience at a dining restaurant. When I walk in somewhere and I'm not acknowledged or welcomed or anything polite or nice kind of throws the whole vibe off.

Not a single smiling or even friendly waitress/waiter. Cold, undercooked food. They even asked how things went and we told them our complaints...their response was "oh". No attempt to make things right or even apologize. This used to be our go to food good food. Not now... don't waste your money.
