Bruster's Real Ice Cream

I come here all the time I live two minutes from this location I always and I do mean always get the pints and I do half-and-half in those pints went there today and was told that they can’t do that. I let the associate know that this is something that I’ve gotten for the last three years of me living in Nicholasville And she told me that she can’t do that because they’re not supposed to highly disappointed won’t be back not sure why you can’t do a half-and-half in a pint of ice cream when that’s something that has always been done.

Not as good of an experience as I have had at other locations. Got the wrong ice cream, which I was fine with but also the ice cream melted and was got runny in about 30 seconds.

First time here and all I can say is Wow, wow and wow! Staff was awesome! Ice cream was awesome! The young lady who took our order was very nice and helpful. Boys got to taste a few flavors and got huge ice cream scoops (small waffle cone) I got a regular medium and it was more then what I expected ? I would show pictures but we were too busy enjoying our ice cream

We had the weirdest experience I've ever had in a food service setting. We parked and walked up to the window and the person working shut the window in our face on three separate occasions. Never said a word, just looked at us like they were completely lost and confused. It took them 20 minutes to scoop two scoops of ice cream for the only two people in front of us. When I finally asked if I could order I had to repeat my order to them multiple times. They just couldn't figure it out. I'm not sure if the kid was okay or what was going on but it was so weird and uncomfortable. When we finally received our order my son's cotton candy explosion ice cream had what I hope was Oreos all over it and I asked the child working if there was supposed to be black stuff in the cotton candy ice cream and they said yes and shut the window. ? I just gave up at this point and told my son to eat it anyway.

Ice cream weak. Banana had little flavor. The biggest burn was having a tablet stuck in my face, wanting a tip. Tips are for waitresses who wait on people, not people making full wages, filling ice cream cones.

My fiancé and I always come back to this Bruster’s location for the BEST ice cream! It is THE place to go for ice cream in Nicholasville.Firstly, their flavours are all fresh, ever-changing and delicious! My favourite flavour of theirs by far is their Cotton Candy Explosion, which comes with popping candy. It changes colour throughout the year, but is always consistently delectable! Their M&M mixer is also quite the treat.For Valentine’s Day, I got a waffle cone (which was pink!) with my favourite cotton candy flavour, and tried their limited edition White Raspberry Truffle ice cream on top. I wish it was available all year ‘round! My fiancé tried their Strawberry Shortcake Bowl, and was blown away by it! Delicious strawberry shortcake-flavoured ice cream, real strawberries and jam, all topped off with a mountain of whipped cream and a cherry. He will definitely be ordering that again!The staff here are also so friendly. We saw one of the servers put the extra big mountain of whipped cream on top of the Strawberry Shortcake Bowl we ordered, and the care she put into its presentation was lovely to see!We will continue to come back here for some of the best ice cream around, and we can’t wait to see what new flavours arrive!

Parking: There is lots of free parking both directly in front of the ice cream shop and around the area it is located in.

Always great ice cream.My only gripe is that there's only 3 benches for seating and there's no shade BUT it's worked for them for years so they're doing it right and we keep going back for more.The service is always friendly and the ice cream is always delicious.

This was the first time I had been here. The scoops are very large. I had my ice cream in a waffle cone. The cone itself was perfectly crispy and taste amazing. I had the cold brew brownie ice cream. The taste was spot on. I was like I bought a Frappuccino with large chewy chocolatey brownie bites in it. It was so good. My fianceé got the banana nut bread ice cream. I'm telling you it was dripping with caramel and it didn't just taste like bananas, you could taste banana nut bread. I recommend this place it is amazing!

5 stars for the ice cream, and zero stars for the staff if I could give a zero! Seems like they were more interested in playing catch behind the counter than helping customers. Asked one of the girl employees a simple question and she said “I have no idea” and wasn’t even willing to find out basic allergen information which I later found very easily on the website which is all she had to do. Extremely unprofessional staff but definitely go for the ice cream!
