Take subway any day over this place
Friendly. Intentional about getting you. Expensive. Pretty slow.

For starters it took an hour for my order of two subs and a large fry. Then as I’m carrying my order into my house, the bag is so full of grease from my grilled Italian that the bottom of the bag ripped and all my fries and sandwiches fell to the ground. I managed to salvage the subs but the fries were a lost cause. Greasiest sub I’ve ever eaten in my life, I couldn’t finish it. Terrible experience for $32 worth of food.

Very dark and boring atmosphere. Ordered food and waited about 15 minutes and an employee told me they ran out of Nutri- Grain bread. Waited about another 15 minutes and they told me they were making my food. As I observed the sandwich being prepared the employee was slowly putting on small thin slices of onion on it. To be exact a total of 3 very small and very thin pieces of onion. I asked for more and he just stared at me. Then the same happened with the banana peppers. Again I requested more telling the employee to please add more and asking him to look at the picture hanging on the wall to see how it was supposed to look like. At that point another employee that was cooking the ingredients for sandwiches on the grill came over and looked at my sandwich and asked what was wrong with it. I tried explaining but his only answer was that’s the way we make it. I have enjoyed other similar sandwiches and multiple Penn Stations and this was not even close. So after the grill guy told me that’s the way they make it I let them know I no longer wanted it if that’s what they were trying to serve me. Everyone just stared at me obviously not knowing what to do! It turns out that nobody knew how to process a return of payment. I asked for a manager and he told me he was but has only worked there for a couple of days! I believe all employees there were brand new. Shame on whoever owns this business for putting new employees in this situation without training and management backup. I finally told the young man I didn’t want to eat what they had prepared and if he couldn’t refund my card that I would accept cash. Again I have visited many Penn Stations and this one was completely unacceptable and no way near comparable to others.

6/1/25 My husband and I came here fr a quick lunch, as we were both not in the mood to cook. I ordered the grilled Italian and he has the Parmesan chicken. We ordered some fries with it and everything came out piping hot and made upon order. The establishment was clean, the staff were friendly. I’d definitely come here again in the future. Sorry no food photos, we were so hungry we gobbled it down before I remembered to capture it. Next time!
I Went in for a Philly cheesesteak and it was Amazing ! The young People who work there are Funny and Nice .

Love the pizza sub and the Philly steak sub
Good food, love their french fries
Sent my wife and her friend to restaurant and they drove back to house, WRONG ORDER, they drove back to restaurant, got back home, one more sandwich wrong!!!! I feel like canceling the payment on Monday, absolutely terrible to say but NEVER AGAIN!!
We got subs for dinner from here one night, before a Cats game. Everything was delicious!
We got two large subs, one Meatball and one Philly Cheesesteak. Both were piping hot, full of delicious, gooey cheese and very filling. You can also taste the quality in their fries which they make from fresh potatoes and peel daily.
The male teen at the counter was helpful with our order as it ended up being quite the wait. There was a large string of orders before us and they worked diligently to make all the subs as fast as possible!
A great place to get yummy subs in Nicholasville.
Always good and always consistent
