It all started with a long wait with 2 employees at the cash register, one doing nothing. Complaining about rolling silverware. We waited 20 mins to be seated. Our waitress was polite and attentive, she was doing her job. The kitchen was backed up taking a long wait for the food. The food was as ok, no problems with that. The experience was unpleasant due to the long wait twice. We went in at 11:30am and came out at 12:50pm.

The quality of food has declined over the years, but that seems to be everywhere these days. The server was very attentive and friendly. The kitchen was really slow, turning out food. The atmosphere was clean for the most part and typical for the chain.Being that it is close to an army post, they used to ask if you were military or dependent to discount. I'm not sure if they do that anymore.

First, like most places, they are understaffed.Second, the tea was soured. Either it was way too old, or they don't wash the containers.Third, I ordered "grilled" artisan bread, I got "toasted" crusty rock hard artisan bread.Next, my wife ordered the bourbon chicken. Her potatoes were not done. The chicken was not done (or at least barely cooked)...... and didn't represent the picture in any semblance.For the restaurant being empty, the attention to the details and customer service was a clear failure.I haven't been happy with Dennys menu options for some time. At this point, I am forced to place it among the list of places I just don't patronize anymore.We as customers don't need fabulously wonderful. We want amazingly tasty.Side note, they even charged for the tea even though I got a coke because the tea was soured. Both the sweet tea and the unsweetened tea were soured!Please save yourself some grief, eat elsewhere!

Hungry team truckers that stopped to eat. Seated right away. It went downhill from there. Waitress reeked of marijuana and was so spaced out she was mumbling. Took our order. Food came. My toast didn’t come. She said oh you wanted wheat or white? I said it doesn’t matter any toast will do. Never brought any toast. Asked for hot sauce. She picked a bottle off the table beside us and slammed it down on our table. Never got any drink refills. Worst service I’ve had in a long time. I had to go to the bathroom and my husband left a small $3 tip because if it were me she wouldn’t have gotten anything and I normally tip 20-25% for even mediocre service.

The food is actually good! But the customer service, the waiting, the dirtiness…sums up why I have it 2 stars. This place is very dirty and you’ll be waiting quite a while because nobody likes to work. The ones that do…have never worked a customer service job in their life.
