Visited with part of my family on Sunday Oct 11. Party of 7. Three of us got prime rib..medium. I asked server when ordering what med would get me. She said hot pink center. When I saw mine I knew it was way overcooked. Cut into it and it was well done. I showed the server. She said that's overcooked. I, along with grandson waited for our steaks. Service was great, restaurant itself was definitely older and dimly lit. While low light can be nice, it wasn’t in this setting. I ordered the 20oz honor brigade ribeye and for the price I was disappointed. I’ve had much better ribeyes for much less than $70+. It wasn’t bad by any means but not what i expected from that price. Salad bar was great though along with the strawberry butter and bread!
Our first time eating here after hearing good things about Briarpatch for years. We were not disappointed. Arrived a little before 4pm and had a short wait to be seated. Quick service for our drink orders and bread with some great strawberry butter. Large salad bar with lots of choices, everything was fresh. I had the ribeye which was cooked perfectly.
