I highly recommend the royal red shrimp boil. It was delicious. It’s as good as I’ve tasted in Destin and that’s hard to beat. The staff are polite and helpful. So easy to deal with.

My dear friend who is in a nursing home absolutely loves fresh oysters on the half shell. To celebrate her birthday we ordered some at Gandy Seafood market. She was so excited and they were delicious. We will be treating her again. What a blessing to have fresh seafood here in Owensboro. Sincere thanks to all at Gandys. PS the staff are super friendly and helpful. A+++++

I unfortunately thought about Bubba Gump's in California and had similar expectations. First time here. We went in and was greeted fast and friendly. We said it was our first time here. I noticed 1 round outdoor patio table and four chairs, 2 rectangle tables for 2 with a third seat added to the side. Asked if they cook fish there. Yes. Luckily there were only four of us there. The guy said Wednesday was the best day to go. This day (Saturday) they basically only had shrimp, some scallops, two pieces of fresh fish. The Lunch plate was 8.99. Shrimp, boiled small potato and corn with a choice of sauce and heat level. Three of us ordered that. I ordered shrimp and grits. 13.99. We all received to go containers with utensils. My box had probably a little more than a cup of grits, 8 shrimp about two inches long and 2 small slices of bread that had a sweet taste on the crust surface with garlic butter on one side heated on a griddle or pan probably. We all had the same size boxes and the three others appeared to have more food than mine. Very salty and I don't know what warranted 13.99 except that my shrimp was peeled. No one's shrimp was cleaned of the intestinal tract. I didn't notice a dark line on mine but I was hopeful that the shrimp with shells didn't have any bad dirt in theirs. Everything was cooked well, but I think I expected more of a restaurant experience. I can't rate the other fish that they didn't have that day of course, but now I know if I want to pick up some seafood, to call and ask, order and pick up to go.

This little shop was packed with so much awesome seafood.I was amazed at the variety of my favorite things. The have plate lunches,take home goodness that you can cook as you like it.some of the best gumbo outside of Louisiana. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything just like I ordered. AMAZING service and even better food

We purchased a frozen alligator. They were very helpful and provided many tips on how to prepare and smoke it. The alligator turned out amazing! Thank you for all your help! ALSO - you all make a phenomenal sea food boil too! We have eaten there several times and every time is 5 stars!

Local fresh seafood store large selection of seafood and any seasonings you will need. Friendly staff and can answer your questions you might have about cooking the seafood. If they don't have what your looking for. They can special order it, and they can cook some orders in house. Definitely recommend them!
