They somehow have transformed the place into a discourteous atmosphere. The woman at the checkout stand was rude and aggressive.

I ordered the Pot Roast and a side of carrots, once my order arrived I tasted the roast, it was cold, then I tried the carrots in the roast they were the same, the side bowl of carrots the same COLD. The waitress finally came back, she asked me what the problem was, I told her, she then said she could fix it rather rudely, but I told her to remove it. I told her I came in to have a Popping Hot meal right out the kitcken, not sent back, if I wanted something microwaved I told her I could've stayed home and done that. She brought the bill and admitted it was cold and removed the charge. Dissatisfied customer.

Always a great experience; although, I think I need to teach the kitchen how to make over-medium eggs. I always get over-easy.

Love Cracker Barrel! Especially the one in Owensboro, Kentucky. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You won't be dissapointed!!

Our family loves to go to the Owens pro Cracker Barrel. It's like sitting down at grandma Sunday Dinner. They smile and give wonderful help with your menu. We have a favorite sever that knows our names , what we always want to drink.Her name is Bridgett and she knows everything on the menu and then some. When you need to relax and you have to go out in such cold weather their beautiful fireplace and Hot Chocolate or fresh coffee just warms you right up. We have made many memories in Cracker Barrel due to their wonderful service, tasty food and beautiful smiles .Just say comfortable, friendly, and good for your pocket and you have Cracker Barrel.

A terrible experience. Party of 6. Botched/incomplete orders, slow service , food served piecemeal over the course of 10-15 minutes. Cold, undoubtedly sitting while the other orders were prepared. “Chicken Fried Steak” had no breading, appeared to be some sort of tasteless hamburger patty. Side orders were so meager they looked like “samples” rather than full sides. At this price point, a horrible under performance.

UPDATE: Cracker Barrel has responded, and I appreciate that, inviting me to visit their website and presumably provide additional details. I’ll respectfully decline doing work for you - the Manager spent time at our table, was fully aware of the various issues , you should already know all pertinent information. I vote with my wallet and my feet, will take my business elsewhere.

We go to eat at CB usually after Dr appointments. Being retired and aged we have several of these. Maybe offer a senior discount. Always a great place to eat. My cooking without the effort! Thanks for coming to Owensboro Ky. Even without a freeway

Food was cold. I had to ask another waiter for a refill on my drink. The music was so loud that it made sitting and talking avery hard, plus it was just irritating to listen to. I eat there some, but this time was not a pleasant experience. This is not the first time, but I felt it important to let you know. The prices have risen, so the food, service , and atmosphere should do the same.

Today the place was pretty slow. Service was terrible. Food came out wrong. We had asked for biscuits to come out early so we could snack on them. We Said something to our waitress about the food being wrong when it came out then she processed to tell us that the kitchen said it was right and that's all she could do. Eventually Talked to the manager who was supposedly in the kitchen cooking and she said she would fix it. Then we noticed none of of meals came with the biscuits that were suppose to be with them. Asked the waitress and she said she gave em to us earlier. I said well mine was supposed to come with gravy and even if that's so they are empty and we need more biscuits. Refills on drinks were only after asking and a long wait. Hoping today was a fluke

Awesome food!! It was busy but the kitchen manager kicked in and was great bringing drinks and anything else that someone might need… And the waitress that was right next to our station had stopped and asked me if a gold band that was on the floor next to me happened to be mine and it was!!! All I can say WOW what great people that you have working for you in the Owensboro store and Restaurant are great!!! And the kind of people that are few and far between!! Thanks for a wonderful place to come and eat…and shop!!!
