Excellent option for great Mexican cuisine on the downtown strip in Owensboro. Their fajitas were delicious. The chips and salsa are great too. The service was outstanding. This place isxeasy to find utilizing Google Maps. The restaurant is kept very clean. There is plenty of free street parking.
Great dessert (banana chimichanga) outside seating with live music tonight. Margarita was excellent. As always, a great time. ¡Gracias!

Ordered the steak and chicken tacos snd they were terrible doesnt taste like authentic mexican tacos i coulda made these better at home and was charged 30 dollars for them work taco spot in owensboro

Ok so my honey took me for date night❣️ Mind u we wanted to try something new so we went down town to Don Mario's and mind u as we was eating my ole man sees this bug crawl across the wall and literally jump to the table like a jumping spider and up on the salt shaker 🤨 I jump up the lady behind me ask what's going on we say cockroaches and she claims everyone has them and keeps eating...like wtf 😒 At this time I can't deal I walk outside to hit my stick and tell Chris to deal with it. They ended up charging him for our 2 margaritas understandable...but both of our foods... Come on now neither of us was able to finish nor wanted to bring it with us...like wtf 😒🙄😳 We did leave a tip for the server...none of this his fault!
Truly a five star experience 🥰 I love the vibes here and the food is truly amazing, cooked to perfection and every time I ordered I'm always absolutely pleased with how wonderfully amazing the food tastes, the servers are always friendly and I can say for certain that Don Mario's is indeed, The place to go for some food Mexican food 😌 looking forward to spending more money here and getting more truly delicious meals 🩷

Just moved here from cali, been trying to find a place that has good tacos like they do in San Diego . Their tacos remind me of back home. Defiantly best place to get authentic tacos !

They was told that we couldn't have onions because of an allergy and they still put them on there they kicked them on there and then we would try to call they hung up on us I go to real Hacienda if you wanted to eat some real food

I was in town on Buisnes from Chicago- Was curious to see how a local Mexican restaurant tasted. Service was zero out of 10!! I had to walk inside from my outside seat to get a waiter to come bring me my check- not one sever came to check on me the entire time I dined. A local Recommended another spot down the street I quickly left and never looked back. If you're in town do not go to this place. It's not authentic- the food taste like soap in the service is trash.
