We came into the restaurant with my service dog. They set me at the table closest to the door with no menu or silverware. When ordering I specifically told them I was allergic to shrimp and they proceeded to bring me my food with shrimp in it. After I told them they took it back and made me a new one.

Had the house menu burger. It's a massive conglomeration of meat, cheese and veggie condiments... very tasty. French fries are great, but can you believe they ran out of catsup? That an abomination! Why didn't they buy some...a great meal ruined by running out of an essential needed to properly enjoy French fries.

We showed up today unannounced as a team after a hockey game. The service was the best I have ever had. The quality of the food was amazing. I highly recommend if you are in the area to stop in. We will definitely be back on our next trip through Owensboro.

Best Mexican restaurant in Owensboro! The food was hot, delicious and the menu had so many things to choose from. The service was awesome! Gotta give props to our severer Brayan! I gave 5 star on everything but atmosphere and I gave it a 4 only problem was the size of the restaurant. This was our first time here but this will be our new favorite Mexican restaurant.

His tears and affect were so earnest that despite the limited vegan options, I had to go back for more. As long as you're respectful you will likely enjoy Don Mario's very much.

Each time my wife and I get a chance to get away from the kids and have an overnight in Owensboro, we always talk about going to some different restaurant but we always wind up at this one.The food is great the service is great and we always get something we really enjoy.The margaritas are tasty and the ceviche platter is truly amazing.For reference I travel both domestically and internationally around 100 nights per year eating all sorts of local foods.
