Not only was the table dirty (With more tables to be sat other than it.) But the wait was horrible. I have been here almost 30 minutes and we have yet to get our food. Unacceptable. If I don't get our food in 10 or so minutes I'm going to just leave.

Yes the atmosphere was not good it took a long time to get our food and not exactly what we expected didn't taste real good I ordered chicken fried rice in the chicken I couldn't even chew it and my husband ordered beef and he didn't like his either so I don't think we'll be going back

Fuji used to be our favorite restaurant no other Japanese restaurant in Owensboro compares. Since the new ownership it has went extremely down hill from the slow customer service to the food quality. The portions have been made smaller the sushi rolls, the egg roll and sauce. The sushi rolls are never the same and definitely not as good. Not to mention the fat was not trimmed off of the food. This was one of the last places in Owensboro that had excellent food very disappointed and not sure we will be back unless the new owners can bring the food and service back to what it was.
The food and service the last time we went were excellent, and maybe this sounds silly to others, but the condition of the fish tank near the front and the Koi pond were atrocious! Those poor fish. We had a hard time enjoying ourselves due to the extent of the disrepair of these fishes homes.

The food here is really good, I have been here many times. The staff are extremely friendly and put on a good show. The price is a little steep but it well worth it. Me and my wife went on our first date here and we go every year around our anniversary. We have been together 5 years. They always say you get what you pay for and it's TRUE. I mean you could always go to shogun's if you want to settle for less but I am not that type person. They always cook my stake perfectly. They never put enough soy sauce on the rice in my opinion, but I put way more on my rice then most people would. You always get way more then you could ever eat in one setting. So you have leftover for when you get home. Another good thing about this place is you can always make new friends. The table sets 8 people so unless you have a big family your going to sit by a stranger. Dont be shy talk to them one of the biggest flaws of American people is we dont communicate. I am not saying make the person your new best friend but socialize. If your still reading this your crazy. You should have done placed your order.
