This is a nice grocery store overall, but the lack of open registers is incredibly frustrating. It seems every time I shop here there are one or two open registers with a minimum of three customers in line with carts full of stuff and a line of six to eight people waiting for self checkout. Spending significantly more time waiting to buy a few things than actually shopping sucks!

Had problem with self checkout and the worker couldn't figure it out, and went to another worker that couldn't help, so called for store manager. Store manager couldn't figure it out and went to another employee. After over 30 minutes of waiting patiently, Manager finally came back with the excuse it seems my credit card was rejected but their system❗️That was absurd because there was a limit of $19,500 on the card and only $2000 has been charged on it and payments were made. After over 30 minute wait for a 2 minute transaction, I just left.

Tyler & Kirsten at the front end were super helpful up front. I had an issue with loading money onto my Chime card and they both absolutely went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. They were both super kind and made me feel like I was a valued customer. Thank you guys!

The store was nice and had a lot to choose from. We had a wonderful self checkout lady named Julie who helped quickly when the light flashed. She was so nice. I really liked the options of food and the shopping carts are deep. This was in Owensboro KY on Frederica Street.

Kroger is abot more expensive than some other stores but quilty produce is why im shopping kroger in owensboro. Im already going 40 mins to a distant grocery. Tired of walmarts half shriveled up green peppers and no tomatoes. NONE.. SO ITS A WONDERFUL THING TO GET PRODUCE THAT I CAN EAT AND TASTE GREAT. I know the time of the year helpsbut still there not almost rotten or so hard and will never get ripe from the other places ive shopped. Ill take my chances on kroger, miss krogers in my home town lexington. Never thought id be going so far to get food and supplies. Hopefully one day in the future whitesville or fordesville will let one of the bigger grocery stores build and our milk wont go sour aweek before dates expires. Yucky. Cant wait. Dollar general stores are so much higher and the I.G. A. Needs to update there coolers. You smell the age of the store as soon as you walk in. I know who owns the store could afford a remodel by now. The groceries are so high. I feel like im in 1972 again. Thates when i was born. Id love to find out how old that store is and im sure no one has updated freezers and coolers unless the rigged it over the years. You would wonder about healthcode. Does that happen in small towns in Kentucky. One grocery been there for many years and looks the same as when the day it originally opened. Things that make you say, hum? Thank god for the manager at kroger on fred st. In owensboro. They are pretty good. Im one happy ?.Loving my fresh fruit. Ill be able to eat. Plus there tomatoes are so good. So happy from kroger. There bakery's proud of itsself. Charging 18.99 for a bunt cake with iceing just thrown on it. Took nothing to make and shame on pricing it so much higher. Pound cake only cost normally 5.99 but put a wiggle of icing ontop and it almost 20.00. why?

I have my groceries delivered from Kroger. Last week I ordered concentrated Mr Clean all purpose cleaner, lavender scent. When the groceries were placed on my front porch this item had busted and was dripping out everywhere. The cleaning solution was on other bags, in other bags that contained food, and completely unlocked. Typically these types of product come still locked with tape around them to ensure safety. I brought everything in, disposed of contaminated food and contacted the store. The First Gentleman that I spoke to was willing to exchange my broken bottle, I just needed to bring the item in, get a refund from the service counter, then go shopping for my replacement, take that to any check out I wanted and buy it again. I tried to explain he was missing the point of paying, and tipping, to have my groceries delivered. He then transferred me to the pick up department and that woman was confused as to why he would transfer me to her so after explaining everything again and being told there was NO WAY they could resolve the problem I asked to be transferred to store manager. The man I spoke with did not identify himself but was actively checking out a customer. I knew this because I could hear him speaking to them but the best part was when I told him “I’m not expecting a thank you” he quickly replied “you’re welcome”. That did it. I laughed out loud. I exposed his lack of attention and I’m still not sure he caught that. He continued to check out people, interrupting me several times with whatever he was saying to the people in front of him after I confirmed he was not even listening. I did not get a resolution just had three people tell me that no Kroger in Owensboro shops for us. Which seems dishonest. I selected this Kroger, you said I could come in and shop for my damaged and replaced bottle, but no Kroger in Owensboro fills delivery orders???? I was requesting they bring me a new bottle to replace what was broken, did not ask for refund on groceries that were potentially exposed to toxic chemicals if consumed or even bring that part of the epic fail up. I will probably cancel my subscription from Kroger at this point. I was holding on to hope that someone would reach out and make what was wrong right but it has been two weeks. I have Walmart plus, and only purchased Kroger subscription because they have a few things Walmart doesn’t have. I can live without those few things.

Pickup from online ordering. Fast & easy. they are well organized & the staff is always friendly. There are a few errors on the app but that's understandable given the vast number of items they sell. I have had issues twice with the way some items have been packed such as heavy items bagged with or on top of eggs resulting in broken eggs & a mess to clean up & smashed bread. When I tried to give feedback I got no response. So I recommend requesting eggs & bread be packed separately in the special instructions area. Lots of good digital coupons available thou some you have to hunt for, but it's worth it. I also like shopping instore but find the online ordering more & more convenient. Store is clean, well organized & well Stocked. Pricing is competitive for the area with a good number of specials available weekly however more & more you need to utilize the app to load those on your card/ account which takes time to do & can be a pain. The fuel points are also a nice bonus.

Price gouging like crazy! And it's not just them.
Inflation is a problem, but it can't touch your profits during these price hikes.
And while your breaking those laws, remember.. cash is legal tender and you will accept it, or we the people have work arounds

Always go to Kroger for their sale on soft drinks. Buy 2 of the 12 packs and get 3 free. Can't beat that!!!!!

People with the order carts run over you. Not enough cashiers.
