The young man that waited on me unknowingly made my day. When I told him he made my day he asked how. I told him that I was having a bad day. Miss having one in Henderson. I drive to Owensboro several times a year for it. It's a childhood favorite. No one does livers and gizzards like them. The chicken is a top 2 favorite for me.
Normally I would not comment but the chicken livers that I had tonight were possibly the worst I have ever bought.To have to wait after being told they were having some being freshly prepared would have been great but they were dry and possibly mixed in with some sitting on the warmer or reheated there was more crumbs than livers
