I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but I am compelled to write this one to inform others.I was in the mood for Long John Silver’s and decided to dine with my 9-year-old son. We were passing through and not from this area.We heard an employee cursing loudly in the kitchen as we approached to place our order. Having worked in fast food myself, I initially overlooked it since the place was empty except for us.However, the same employee came to the front and continued speaking loudly and unprofessionally, even after noticing us. She never acknowledged our presence.My son and I stood there, hoping she would finish her conversation and take our order, but that never happened. Instead, she walked away and out of sight, continuing her unprofessional behavior without ever acknowledging us.We waited a moment, then realized we would only be served for a while despite being the only customers. We decided to leave and find another place to order food without the loud and unprofessional attitude.I run a business myself and understand the importance of customer service and professionalism. Had I been in charge, I would have fired this employee immediately.

What a great addition to our home dinner we got 2 dozen hush puppies to go! Delicious with our Hoppin John and so inexpensive! We will definitely do it again.

First one I went to had only drive through open,so went to another and service pretty slow a the size of the fish is very small, it takes 2 to make one of what it used to be. Won't be eating at any long John silvers again. Not worth the money

I was very disappointed with my order , it seems that the fish I ordered had been cooked way before it was served. It was awful. Never had that problem before.

I've enjoyed this place since I was a kid. We just got some chicken and fish sea shares and a couple sides and brought them home. Hit the spot for what we were craving, and they handled large order well, checking with each other throughout getting it ready to make sure everything was just right.

I wanted to order something that I saw on line. In a no nonsense manner, Debra told me I couldn’t do that. Hmm, it was the first thing that popped up when I was looking for the menu. I’m not saying that I was in the correct screen but I clicked on menu and it came up. I’m not that computer savvy but I I do recognize when someone just doesn’t want to serve me. I just asked why it was advertised. She became very impatient with me. No time to explain. Anyway, our order was correct?? It was very sparse on condiments that I requested so I went back in. I did receive those without any questions. BTW, I will unsubscribe and I won’t be back anytime soon.Courtesy to the people who actually keep you employed is a dying art.Maybe Chick Fila could give classes…

My husband and I pulled up to the drive through window where the cashier confirmed our order, it was $20. I should have checked to make sure we received our full order but this time I didn't. When we got home we realized that we were both missing coleslaw and our fries were burnt. I understand this is fast food but a restaurant should still pride themselves in offering quality food that isn't burnt especially for the price I paid. Furthermore, I wish I had checked our bag before getting home otherwise I would not have paid the up charge for an additional side that we never got. I'm not sure we will be coming back.

Looking Out For The City ..

I made my way to this very location of Long John Silver's as a landmark to set my Garmin to so I could drive all the way to Owensboro. Not even kidding. I wanted to make the trip because that is where Johnny Depp is from and really, nothing really extravagant there. It is located near a Kroger of which I was happy with because I needed to fill up on gas from the journey. Now I am back home and enjoying the cheese curds (yes, they just started selling them), a sampler, and two sides of coleslaw. So worth it because all the ones where I am at went bankrupt and I guess going to this one even fits the whole Pirates of the Caribbean theme. ;)

The staff was INCREDIBLY RUDE except for the manager on shift. The food was honestly inedible. The chicken was old and the texture of leather. The fries were so mixed in with an immense amount of the batter crisps that I wasn't sure if they were mixed with my fries or if I had gotten an order of just the crisps and they accidentally threw in some fries. I can't speak for the fish as I didn't eat it. On top of the RUDE staff member I had to wait over 20 minutes for my food and I really think they just forgot because they pulled me and they were not busy at all. There was no one behind me in the drive thru at all. I know it wasn't to make fresh food for sure. I recommend going to one of the other stores.
