This place is awesome, and you're supporting a local shop owner. I've read through other reviews and most complaints were the wait times. I get it, I had to wait a little bit too. But it's a dinner, not a fast food joint. The food was excellent, and more than I could've asked for. The price was CHEAP. I would've spent probably triple at McDonalds for the amount of food. This is fresh, good, cheap food. 5 stars all day.

Last Friday was the first time that I had tried Mendy’s and I got two of the salmon patty meals and it was GREAT.The price and amount of food you get you just can’t beat it.Needless to say I’ll definitely be back. I’m wanting to try the taco salad next.Great food and very friendly service
I travel a lot for business and, for the sake of variety if nothing else, like to give these smaller restaurants a chance. This place had good ratings and did not disappoint. The staff is warm and friendly. The "Large Breakfast" was cooked correctly and reminded me of the breakfasts my Granny would make for me many years ago. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Owensboro.

The omelet had a good amount of meat. The omelet was a nice size but not much cheese in it. 1 slice is not enough. Hash browns were sent back. Still was not right. Staff were,very friendly and tentive

A small unassuming side of the road cafe. Looks can be deceiving. Excellent service! Great food! The other customers were welcoming and friendly too. It was like visiting Grandma's house and everyone stopped in for a chat and a bite to eat. Will be back.
