Absolutely wonderful place, anytime I visit Owensboro I always make sure to stop by here. Their food is really delicious (and very reasonably priced) plus the atmosphere is great. I recommend their stone pot bibimbap!!!

The place was extremely dirty. Actually found a dirty rag under our table. Our shoes stuck the floor walking around the place. The service was very slow. The bathroom conditions literally turned my stomach. It was pure filth everywhere I looked. Highly recommend NOT eating here.

Ordered the snow fire roll, to my surprise it came out wrapped in aluminum foil and on fire which made the sushi inside taste burnt. The roll would've been okay without the pointless showmanship. Couldn't stand the chared flavor. 🤮

Extraordinarily good service and food. I was thoroughly impressed by the bulgogi. Make sure to ask for the kimchi; if you've never had it before, it's awesome.

My husband and I love eating at Mikato. We have a consistently great experience every single time. We especially love the house ginger salad, Pork Gyoza appetizer, spicy bulgogi, and the sushi (best sushi in Owensboro in my opinion). The hot green tea is served in an adorable little tea kettle. On top of serving amazing food, the staff are wonderful and delightful. Highly recommend Mikato!
