Mikato Steak and Sushi

Ordered the snow fire roll, to my surprise it came out wrapped in aluminum foil and on fire which made the sushi inside taste burnt. The roll would've been okay without the pointless showmanship. Couldn't stand the chared flavor. 🤮

Extraordinarily good service and food. I was thoroughly impressed by the bulgogi. Make sure to ask for the kimchi; if you've never had it before, it's awesome.

My husband and I love eating at Mikato. We have a consistently great experience every single time. We especially love the house ginger salad, Pork Gyoza appetizer, spicy bulgogi, and the sushi (best sushi in Owensboro in my opinion). The hot green tea is served in an adorable little tea kettle. On top of serving amazing food, the staff are wonderful and delightful. Highly recommend Mikato!

Was in their owensboro location for lunch today. Took half of the meal home for supper. Warmed it up and while eating it felt something that didn't seem right. Found I'd been chewing on a piece of wire. Maybe they use a wire brush to clean the grill. I'm not sure but I know I won't ever be back. Tried to call and talk to the manager but phone number just went to voicemail.
