A community staple! We love Moonlite and the Bosley’s. I frequent at least twice monthly for take home. It’s also a wonderful place to pick up take out for family gatherings, reunions or funerals. Love their vegetables as well as their assortment of meats. The quality of food never disappoints. Everyone is always friendly and eager to help. Owensboro is fortunate to have Moonlite as part of their heritage and thankful the tradition continues.

The food was fabulous, the service was great, and you couldn't ask for a better place for one or two or a group of people to sit and have a nice warm home cooked meal!
The audacity to claim "BBQ Capital of the World" and then serve that trash meat is shameful. The sides and dessert were to die for, but the meat may kill you. An extra saving grace was the service which was exemplary.
Someone please get Owensboro, KY a map and circle Kansas City, Texas, and even the Carolinas before they make any more claims regarding their BBQ.

Moonlight has a hit & go with their food. Their BBQ meats don't taste like BBQ. It doesn't have that smokie flavor ? . This Sunday, the food was okay. Their desserts were great & the salad bar was pretty good, too. The waitress & owner were absolutely amazing ?
