I love OCharles but I ordered to go catfish dinner and got a peice of chicken in the catfish!
2025 edit: ive tried their new menu options and it Sucks with a capitol S. My fried chicken was basically a chicken patty. Also, i work in another restraunt, and for kicks and giggles we asked our health inspector wheres the dirtiest place to eat in Owensboro,
He just said stay away from ocharlies....
you wont ever catch me eatting here after hearing what he said....

Food was fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. Mickey was an amazing server.

Summer was our server. She was amazing. Always checking on us to see if we needed anything and asking if our food was cooked right. My steak was cooked exactly the way I ordered and barely any fat. The sides were large portions. I had to order the caramel pie. Oh my gosh! It is covered with whipped cream, a few chocolate chips and some pecans. If you like caramel I highly recommend it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this meal. I will be back.

Been here a few times this was the worst my daughter got the club sandwich and the toast was burnt i got was supposed to be a country style steak but it was a burnt hamburger never again

The food was great, my wife and I eat here a enough to know it's normally good all around. The Service Tonight left a lot to be desired. Brandi, avoided our table like the plague and never removed one glass or dish. Must be above her pay grade.

Servers were limited for our party of 25. Service was good, not as fast as desired due to the shirtage of employees. Out of 25 orders only one was wrong. Only one batch of rolls were overcooked. We will definitely visit again.

I was only there to pick up a to go order, and yet the bartender found a way to be rude from across the restaurant. If I ever go back, it certainly won't be at night. Maybe the day shift cares about the customer?

For a Sunday at lunch time we were happy to be seated immediately. Noticed the new menus right away. Spinach dip was good as usual, it's not a huge portion but enough for 2 people to share before a meal and it is inexpensive. I tried the shrimp and grits which were fairly priced at 9.99. Husband got surf n turf with fries and really enjoyed the shrimp. He described The chicken strips as average and catfish as mediocre. Our waitress was very nice but they must have had her serving tables on the other side of the restaurant as well because anytime she left for anything she was gone quite a long time.

Food is good, but could be great if they would use a little less salt on burgers and fries and less sugar in flavored teas. However service and atmosphere is amazing.
