Growing up with barbecue in Owensboro is quite an experience. This is a local barbecue restaurant that is absolutely scrumptious as soon as you walk in the door you smell that smoky smell and immediately get hungry. I recommend the chopped mutton sandwich however if you haven’t grown up this , you may not like it. Everything else is absolutely scrumptious never had a bad meal there. The blackberry cobbler is out of this world.

I'm not normally a big bbq person so when everyone we knew recommended stopping here when we went to Owensboro I wasn't sold. But I'm so glad we listened because it was well worth the stop. Delicious food!

Just came in to get something to take back home while i was in town.i dont get by there very often as i live in Evansville.
Please renovate your restaurant. Service terrible brisket terrible and the barbecue sauce is so watery. Live in Chicago land area and have been coming for yrs has gotten terrible.
