Tyecia Phipps and her staff are always so friendly and helpful. Tyecia has been at the Frederica street location for a long time and definitely is dedicated to her job. Great customer service goes a long way and she's the true definition of caring about her store.

Short haired manager is super rude. Very unwelcoming. She acts like it's a problem everytime someone walks through the door. Just going to start going to the other location.

Very weird environment, no welcoming statements , employees look miserable. The dining room was pretty dirty as well for being how slow it was. I don’t think I’ll be back at this location honestly. Employee adding toppings didn’t have gloves on which is very disgusting considering she’s touching spatulas and receipts and potatoes. This people don’t care

After moving away from Owensboro, I try to always hit Penn Station while in town. Tonight I was greeted by a very perturbed, indifferent, and unhappy worker by the name of Cornbread. We were in the restaurant plenty of time before closing, but he made it abundantly clear that we could not order fries because he had already turned the fryers off. Our sandwiches were made hastily as if he was in a rush to get us out.

In ALL my many years visiting this location, while living here and visiting, I’ve never received this level of service.

A cheesesteak sounded good for dinner so we went to the local Penn Station at 9:35 and the lady at the grill said no hot sandwiches as she was cleaning it with toxic chemicals, her words. Penn Station closes at 10pm, but don't count on any hot sandwiches. The one lady at the register was rude and shouldn't be working in customer service

Went in for take out steak sandwich took 45 minutes to get one sandwich and small fries left my sandwich that was finished on counter for 15 minutes while making other sandwiches ridicules wait time. Should have been told when order was being placed I would have went elsewhere to get my take out!!!!!!

We were driving through and very tired, so we decided to stop here. Food was good and the service was good. However, we ordered 1 small sandwich, 1 regular wrap, 1 large fry, and two small drinks. When they told me the price, $33.46, I commented that it seemed high, the manager and the counter man both said that it was normal, so we paid and ate. I didn't look at the receipt until the next day and realized that even though we ordered small drinks and sandwiches, we were charged for larges on everything, even though we received small drinks and small sandwiches. I am disappointed, this seems a little underhanded to me. On the positive, the food was good. However, I will hesitate to return to any Penn Station because of this practice. This happened on 4/8/25, receipt #520481-101.
