Down home food, nice & friendly. Server Emily was exceptional along with the other employee that I believe was the one that cooked our food. Lemon Meringue Pie amazing. Friendly customer's that liked the piece of paper joke. Will highly recommend this place. If we are ever out that way again will stop in to eat there again.

The place was very clean in appearance and nice atmosphere but food was lacking. After seeing online that had fish sandwhich was looking forward to this but got a frozen fish triangle deep fried, I could do this from home. We tried a piece of pie to give it a chance and it also was lacking quality as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accesible.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. We were traveling through town, and wanted to try something local so we passed on Hometown Pizza...big mistake! Food was way overpriced for sub par food. Portions were very small. I just wasted a hard earned $50 to feed my family, including 3 kids. $10 for a tiny salad. Truly disappointed and feel sick after the greasy "taco" salad... Opt for McDonalds or pack a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Restaurant was clean and service was good and friendly.

A very simple, comfortable place with good home-style food at a very reasonable price. I had the Fried Chicken Breast special that came with a roll, 2 sides and a little piece of chocolate cake, all for a little over $11. I also ordered a bowl of tasty brown bean soup which came with a thin pancake-size piece of nicely flaky cornbread for $4.99. The chicken was lightly breaded and tender, my green beans and cheesy potatoes were cooked just right, and the cake was moist and very chocolatey. My only complaint was that the dishes could have been seasoned a bit more, but I guess since their clientele ranges from little kids to the elderly, they want to avoid intense flavors so as not to put off anyone. So, I peppered the potatoes and put hot sauce on the beans, which livened them up just fine! I'll definitely eat there again.?
