Highly recommend! Used for my son’s rehearsal dinner. They showed up on time, set up and cleaned up everything as promised, and the food was great! I was very pleased!
Our Thanksgiving meal yesterday was the first time we had dined at Esters. They get 5 Stars for great tasting food, selection, quantity & friendly service. The atmosphere was like a family gathering. We asked for smaller portions & still had enough leftovers for full meals later.
The food was excellent and the service was also very good.Too bad this was the last day this place was open. I understand that it was sold and will soon be a store.
Stopped by here after a long day of driving. Food was really good, the potatoes were really delicious. Hope to be back in the future. Family run and great atmosphere.
Always a delicious meal at Esters! Tonight we brought out-of-town guests, and they also were delighted with their meals (especially the frosting on the chocolate cake).
GO HERE RIGHT NOW! I will forever love this place. They took care of me when I showed up with my pup in the rain, setting me up in front under the patio and the food was fantastic. The best way to wrap up a hike. Pick this place for a meal and don't think twice! And when I mentioned this place at Green River canoeing, they were over the moon about this place as well. Eat here and be happy.PS to the fine folks at Esters: the boy + his pup ended up in Dayton for our halfway trip to run in the fields at the birth place of aviation. Thank you for everything.

Our first time visiting was great. Service with a smile! Food was great. We will see you all again!
my fiancé and I just stopped here to pick up dinner to take back to our air bnb as we are from Michigan, we had such a nice conversation with the owners and they made us feel so welcome like we were family. The food we just ate was unbelievable and you could taste the true southern love put into it! We felt even better that we are supporting such a sweet family and family farm:) thank you so much!!

Great food, greater environment
Great place to eat !!! The menu is creative and the atmosphere is also comfortable
Had dinner at this place during our visit to mammoth cave national park. It was a laid back, casual, country style, farm- to- table, rustic, family owned place. The environment inside was very homey. The owners were very sweet and friendly. They had a few options and even offered us to sample before we could actually order! The food was fresh, hot, especially the meatloaf. They had a big family inside the dining room where everybody was having dinner. They even suggested us great cave trips that we could take the next day. The dinner was wonderful.
Tasty meal and delightful staff. A little homegrown place with lots of homemade items. The tomato pie was tasty and the mashed potatoes were homemade. Catfish was yummy and the prices were great at $11.95 a plate. The only feedback would be the actual running of the restaurant needs some help. Our ticket got forgotten and other to go orders stacked on top of it so I had to go to the counter and ask about our food for our done in order. Otherwise, yum!
Ester's has a feel like any country diner you've ever loved! Once inside you are immediately welcomed into the family. Some daily specials are immediately available from the buffet or you can order something from their menu. I would suggest checking their Facebook page for daily specials and hours of operation, as the owners post regularly about their offerings.
