it didnt give me an option for what I needed, but our service was absolutely great. the server couldn't have been better BUT! as my family and I were eating, I looked over at my husband and I seen a COCK ROACH crawling up the wall. Our server was in the middle of taking a large parties order so I couldn't get her attention. I grabbed the attention of another server. she was polite but when I pointed to the wall with the cock roach crawling up it she knocked the bug down. the table next to us asked what it was and she said a water bug. didnt even apologize, didnt grab a manager or nothing. my husband already ate his food and same with my daughter, but my son and I immediately stopped eating. I felt like I was going to vomit all over the table. my son hasnt eaten anything since we left bc he still feels sick. we kindly paid and walked out. I will NEVER eat at Betty's again.

I had the Catfish, fries & slaw. My husband had smoked pulled pork on cornbread, mashed potatoes & gravy, and slaw! We also tried the peanut butter pie it was all delicious!! & The service was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

Went there on a Friday night. Sign and website said open until 8. It was 6:05, doors were locked. Two women sitting at one of the back tables with their feet up. Clearly not interested in having a reputable business.

On a road trip from NY to TN. Wifey an I look for local non corporate places to eat whenever possible. If you are visiting Mammoth Cave National Park you must head over to Miss Betty’s after cave hiking. When we walked up first thing we noticed was the smoker going low and slow. Very welcoming. We sat down and quickly got our drink order. The sandwich of the month was a fried beef steak sandwich. Sublime ! Not too much and over worked. Nicely toasted bread, fresh lettuce and tomato, and tasty gravy. The turnip greens with vinegar, the white beans with onion. Wifey had the roast beef Manhattan and she loved it. Staff is wonderfully engaging and welcoming. Keep supporting a local jewel. Thank you Miss Betty we loved our meal.
