We were in town on a bike trip staying at the Daniel Doone Inn across the highway. We had breakfast there every morning. The service was fast and friendly. The food was also good and reasonably priced. We will be back the next time we are in Pikeville.

Very clean, quiet and welcoming. Delicious food with beautiful presentation. Handicapped restrooms. Diaper changing station. Ask for Keara!

I gave a 3 star review due to the following .. the bacon came out raw (literally was barely warmed on each side with a raw pink color) and when asked could they cook it, it was brought back out nearly petrified on 1 meal (all 3 slices were very different in color) another meal had hair in the strawberry pancakes, my blueberry pancakes were raw in the middle, we ordered desserts for 3 kids meals and 1 adult meal. The adult dessert requested strawberry pie, advertised on the sign outside and all inside the store; they came back to the table to say they were out of stock yet still tried to charge us for something we never received and overcharged us for the kids meal with hair in the strawberry pancakes yet brought out strawberry pie to the table who was seated behind us shortly before we left.
It took 2 attempts with different people to fix the errors on the ticket issue. Nearly $20 for my meal with a drink that 50% of was inedible. I get errors may happen BUT they seemed fully staffed AND the dining room wasn't even full. Poor food quality & poor customer service. The good parts of our visit was it was cool inside and the bathrooms were clean.

I grew up with Bob Evans, but there aren't any where I live now. On a road trip, I stopped in because I used to love their home fries. I ordered some as a side to my BLT. I was so disappointed. They were barely warm and had ZERO seasoning or even salt on them. How they managed to not even have the flavor of the grill on them is truly a marvel. So, if you've ever wanted to boil a potato, pull it straight out of the water and take a bite once it got cold, this is the dish for you. The waitress was excellent though and the place was very clean. The BLT and my son's burger were ok, nothing special.
I love bob Evans but this was a very bad experience. The restaurant was dirty, the bathrooms smelled nasty and the service was slow. There was not one piece of sausage in my sunshine skillet and my husband got his cold toast after he had finished his breakfast. Bad coffee and the only hot tea they had was decaf peppermint. Not a good stop.

We stopped in during a trip. Both bathrooms smelled terrible and were filthy. The paper products in both bathrooms were empty. There was mold growing on the side of a toilet in the men's restroom. We departed without ordering food and ate at another (cleaner) restaurant.
One of the best restaurants in Pike county. The service, food, all of it, is always spot on. Their menu offers a little something for everyone. From breakfast, to burgers, to country comfort food.kid friendly too!
Great breakfast and awsome service!
Lunchtime Sunday: Crowded, long wait, prices high for the area, but food was good.
Waited 1-1/2 hours to get our food, and when we did, it was completely wrong. Sent back waited some more when they brought it back, it was still wrong. They weren't even busy!
