Chirico's Italian Restaurant in Pikeville is definitely a mixed experience. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly, which is always a plus. We tried a few different dishes, and while some of them were pretty tasty (the pasta was definitely on point), others left a bit to be desired. The pizza, for example, was a bit soggy in the middle and didn’t have the crispy crust I was hoping for. Service was decent, though a little slow at times. Overall, it’s a good spot for a casual meal, but I think there’s room for improvement in both the food consistency and speed of service.

Generous portions of good food!Service was exemplary as the waitresses clearly enjoyed making sure their tables had everything just right. For the history buffs, this is one of the former McCoy family residences. I would return here if I get back to this area.

Several of us girls ordered lunch yesterday. In all, we had three Italian Frankwiches, Scampi Chirico with grilled chicken, Caramel Brickle, NY Cheesecake, bread/oil, and a cannoli. Everything was delicious! Service was great too!

Our waitress tonight, Ireland, was amazing! I’m from Chicago and the level of service between here and there is night and day. Friendly from the second we got to our table, she refilled our drinks without us needing to ask, and was even able to give us advice about our next trip to Montana. The food? The pizza was delicious and the homemade bread was perfect. I’d say the only bad thing was the price of the soda, a little expensive in my opinion.
