This isn’t fast food, everything is made to order and that takes time. The staff are all working hard to get everything out but good things take time. I’ve heard many times that you can have something fast, good or cheap… pick two of the three. I first experienced Dairy Cheer when I attended Pikeville College after high school. The first time I had a Smasharoo, I was hooked! Now, at age 48, I'm still craving them! Sadly, the one close to me is not there anymore and Pikeville is an hour and a half away. Love, love, love Dairy Cheer!!!
I go to this place pretty often to get my grandmother thats in the nursing home things she wont normally have the option of eating there. We've taken her everything from the pinto bean dinner to the fish platter and always a dessert such as a strawberry sundae or a strawberry milkshake. Even on days the staff says she hasn't eaten or wont eat for them she has eaten this food, especially the sweets til there's not a drop left. I'll forever be thankful for this...
