Dueling Barrels Brewery & Distillery

The staff is horrible at customer service. I waited for 10 minutes and politely left. I was dressed nice.

We popped in at this distillery/brewery midday on a Saturday. Sadly, the main floor was closed, so we had to go upstairs. The bartender was amazing and very helpful. She helped us navigate the different drinks available, discussed the history of the distillery, provided great suggestions for other local sights, and even went down to the ground floor shop to get some items for us for purchase. The actual drinks? Pretty good! They serve a bourbon barrel ale that has quite the flavor.

My husband and I went into the retail area of tooling barrels and were blown away by our server, Megan. She was extremely knowledgeable of every product she sells and was pleasant and enjoyable to talk to you. You have found a gold mine in Miss Megan. Thank you for a great experience!

Johnny Pop was an excellent tour guide. Highly recommend Dueling Barrels for the KY bourbon trail. Especially if you like Appalachian history and moonshine.

I cant drink but my husband can so he wanted to stop here and check things out. It was our first time stopping in since they have been open and it was lovely. Very spacious, they had a decent variety of shirts and hats, and a very nice selection of alcohol. On top of all that, the service was amazing. My husband was the one asking questions about everything and they were answered with respect and as much knowledge that couldve been given. Definently plan on visiting again!

This place is my guilty pleasure. I love craft beer and I love pub fare and this joint has the best of both. I highly recommend the Scith Egg and the Reuben sandwich. You can't go wrong with either of them. The pretzel is a great choice as well. Oh yeah... They have beer too and it is phenomenal!

Been here twice and both times it's been closed. Says open until 9 pm on Saturday, but definitely closed at 5:30. Even better the phone number listed goes to a "US Seeds" voicemail.

Stopped in on a random Wednesday afternoon and did a tasting with Jacob. Lots of fun, delicious spirits and learned a lot. Of course we bought some.

We had such a fun experience here! Jacob & Josh were absolutely fantastic. So welcoming & helpful when we arrived and we had the most fun and interesting tasting experience. The bourbon, moonshine, & beer was out of this world and we can’t wait to come back and tour. Truly, Jacob made the experience so much more enjoyable when was super knowledgeable about everything- cannot wait to return!!

While visiting Pikeville KY, we were lucky enough to spend part of an afternoon with Jacob,Theo and Josh at Dueling Barrels Brewery and Distillery. It definitely was the highlight of our trip.It was awesome to sample Bourbon, Rye, Gin and their beer. Their knowledge of the spirits, the distillery and the building was captivating. We can’t wait to visit again.Bonus , we will be returning to Minnesota with a few bottles of our new favorites.Thank you for an amazing day.
